NBA Best Bets for Wednesday, March 2nd 2022
The NBA season is coming to an end. There are less than 20 games remaining in the season.
This means teams need to start making their push for the playoffs. Many teams are looking for players to step up, and the same goes for betting. As bettors, we need to find the player and teams to bet in the last portion of the season.
On Wednesday, there are a lot of great games to wager. Money line bets do not give us much value, so we have to bet the spread. Here are my best NBA ATS bets for Wednesday, March 2.
Charlotte Hornets vs. Cleveland Cavaliers
Best Bet: Cavaliers -3
The Charlotte Hornets may not look great in the win/loss column, but they are a reputable team. Charlotte’s young core is fantastic, which is why they should be successful in the coming years. LaMelo Ball has emerged into a superstar, and he will be critical to stop on Wednesday.
Even though Charlotte has a decent team, Cleveland is a better franchise. The Cavaliers have exceeded expectations this year. The team is just 1-4 SU in their past five games, but this is a good spot.
If the Cavaliers cannot get right at home, they will have trouble in the playoffs. Charlotte is 2-8 in their past ten SU.
New York Knicks vs. Philadelphia 76ers
Best Bet: 76ers -10.5
The New York Knicks have been a disappointment in 2021-22. Some days they show up, but most of the time, they fall apart. They will go on the road to face a strong Sixers team.
Philadelphia just added James Harden from the Nets. He has played in a couple of games and is averaging 28 points. The Sixers are one of the favorites to come out of the Eastern Conference.
If the Knicks cannot stay competitive in this game early, they will struggle. New York is 0-5 ATS in their last five games. This is compared to the Sixers at 4-1 ATS in their past five.
I would bet the hot hand, and this is the Sixers.
Miami Heat vs. Milwaukee Bucks
Best Bet: Heat +4
The Miami Heat are going to be competitive against Milwaukee on Wednesday. I believe they have the team to win outright in this matchup.
The Bucks were bad ATS in 2021-22. The team is 27-35 ATS compared to the Heat at 35-26-1 ATS.
My money is going to be on Miami in this matchup. The team has been cruising lately, even with some injuries.
Miami is 9-1 SU in their last ten games. The Bucks are just 1-5 ATS in their past six.
It’s best to bet on the hot hand. Miami is cruising.
Sacramento Kings vs. New Orleans Pelicans
Best Bet: Pelicans -6
The Kings and Pelicans are very similar teams SU and ATS. However, the one reason to lean towards the Pelicans is because of their recent games. The team is 8-4 ATS in their last 12 games.
I would take the Pelicans at home. Sacramento is 2-16 SU in their past 18 games on the road. There is no reason to touch the Kings in this contest.
