Week 4 of the college football season is upon us, and that means that another teaser or two are in the making. Let’s dive into the construction of one 6-point teaser and one 10-point teaser involving Saturday’s action.

NCAA Football 6-Point Teaser Picks for Week 4
While we make both of these teaser bets, we want to be mindful of getting through as many key numbers as possible while also taking games that make sense in that format.
These picks don’t have to be the best games to bet straight up on the week, but the games that make the most sense to tease to an appropriate number.
Texas Tech vs. Texas Predictions
Teaser Pick: Texas (-7.5 to -1.5)
This is a great teaser spot with Texas as we get to move through 7 and 3 without much additional movement through numbers like 0, which are generally bad for a teaser. Texas is starting Casey Thompson again this week, and his performance will likely dictate just how this game goes.
Picking Texas to win more or less outright feels like a great start here vs. an underwhelming Texas Tech team.
Illinois vs. Purdue Predictions
Teaser Pick: Illinois (+11 to +17)
I get why Purdue is a significant favorite here. But their combination of offense and defense really hasn’t been all that impressive to me relative to teams like Nebraska and Maryland this season.
Illinois should be able to at least keep this one competitive as they have in both Big Ten games, and we get to move through 13, 14 and get up to 17 with this number here.
Iowa State vs. Baylor Predictions
Teaser Pick: Iowa State (-7 to -1)
Iowa State hasn’t been very impressive this season, but now is the time of year where the Cyclones usually start to take off after a slow start, and this game is huge for their future. While making the playoff seems like a tough ask, it’s still likely a goal, as is the Big 12 championship.
A loss here would really hurt their season, and Baylor isn’t a team that should beat Iowa State in any aspect of the game. I love this one at what is basically a moneyline pick on the Cyclones.
NCAA Football 10-Point Teaser Picks for Week 4
Notre Dame vs. Wisconsin Predictions
Teaser Pick: Notre Dame (+6.5 to +16.5)
Here we get Notre Dame going through 7, 10, 13, and 14 at a neutral site game vs. a team that really hasn’t shown a ton of offensive prowess this season with 10 points vs. Penn State and 34 vs. Eastern Michigan so far this year.
The Irish haven’t looked dominant, but something more than a 16 point loss would come as a shock to the college football world.
Kansas State vs. Oklahoma State Predictions
Teaser Pick: Kansas State (+6 to +16)
This is really just a bet on a great number. We again move through 7, 10, 13, and 14, and we are in a situation where disaster would have to strike to lose here. While Oklahoma State is surely live to cover, their offense hasn’t been impressive at all failing to beat Missouri State, Tulsa, and Boise State by less than two possessions in any game.
Now we expect them to beat Kansas State by three scores in conference play? Barring turnover luck, I can’t see that happening.
Wyoming vs. UConn Predictions
Teaser Pick: Wyoming (-30 to -20)
UConn STINKS, and a 20 point win or less vs. this team would be absolutely dreadful for a Wyoming team that is coming off of a 33 point win vs. a competent Ball State team last week.
UConn’s coach just quit the team, and they have been getting killed by every team they play outside of Holy Cross. Wyoming will roll here and cover their original spread, never mind the -20 we have here.
