Rob Gronkowski Props Picks for Wild Card Round

Eagles vs. Buccaneers Predictions

Time: Sunday, January 16 @ 1 PM ET

TD Scoring Odds: -105 to score “Anytime” Touchdown

Tom Brady is going to throw the ball; his Bucs do it 66.2% of the time, which is the highest percentage in the NFL. And this is going to happen whether Leonard Fournette plays or not. So the question is, who will he seek out in the absence of Antonio Brown and Chris Godwin.

Rob Gronkowski was right there for him in the regular season finale against Carolina, catching seven passes for 137 yards.

Gronk’s involvement here is important, not just because he is a famed playoff collaborator with Brady, but because Philadelphia has been pretty generous to tight ends, allowing 77.5% completions, with 9.7 yards per reception and 14 touchdowns (most in the NFL). Mike Evans, who caught two TD passes last week, wouldn’t be a bad choice either, at -110.

Stefon Diggs Props Picks for Wild Card Round

Patriots vs. Bills Predictions

Time: Saturday, January 15 @ 8:15 PM ET

TD Scoring Odds: +140 to score “Anytime” Touchdown

Most observers would say that points are going to be hard to come by here. If and when the Bills get close to the end zone, there is one guy they will look at first and foremost. Diggs has been targeted 35 times in red zone situations, which is almost twice as many as any other Buffalo receiver (Dawson Knox has 18). He is second in the league in red zone targets, and red zone yardage. And he has scored all ten of his TD’s inside the 20 yard line.

Cooper Kupp Props Picks for Wild Card Round

Cardinals vs. Rams Predictions

Time: Monday, January 17 @ 8:15 PM ET

TD Scoring Odds: -165 to score “Anytime” Touchdown

Is there really any viable alternative, as far as the Rams are concerned? Kupp has seen more red zone targets than any receiver in the NFL. He has also caught far more passes (26) inside the 20 than anyone, with 13 touchdowns. He’s had TD’s in five of his last six games, and last time against Arizona he had 13 receptions for 123 yards.

Brandon Aiyuk Props Picks for Wild Card Round

49ers vs. Cowboys Predictions

Time: Sunday, January 16 @ 4:30 PM ET

TD Scoring Odds: +225 to score “Anytime” Touchdown

Where I’m looking, Deebo Samuel has a better price to score than Ezekiel Elliott, and that shows some value. And speaking of value, Samuel has it – as both a rusher and receiver, scoring eight and six touchdowns, respectively, in those roles.

But we’ll go with Aiyuk as something of a longshot play, to the extent that a price of +225 makes him a longshot. He’s been red zone-targeted more than the other Niner pass-catchers, and his five red zone receptions have all gone for touchdowns, which means he’s a perfectly viable option for Jimmy Garoppolo.

Byron Pringle Props Picks for Wild Card Round

Steelers vs. Chiefs Predictions

Time: Sunday, January 16 @ 8:15 PM ET

TD Scoring Odds: +260 to score “Anytime” Touchdown

Travis Kelce and Tyreek Hill would be the usual suspects here, but in the interests of putting a better price on this, let’s try Pringle, who was hard for the Steeler secondary to solve last time around, with 75 yards in receptions and two touchdowns. He’s got more red zone TD catches than any other Chief aside from Hill or Kelce. All but five of his receptions have gone for a first down or a touchdown.
