Packers odds made Green Bay the favorite in 14 of its 16 games with a spread in 2025, and the Packers covered five of those 14. They went 9-7-1, a unit on every priced game lost 3.56, and our predictions for this season’s Packers games are above.

Short prices, few covers

The Packers finished the 2025 regular season 9-7-1. Sixteen games carried a spread (the Thanksgiving win at Detroit had none) and Green Bay beat it six times. Twenty-six NFL teams covered more often; two others shared the same rate.

October shows the gap. Three games, three wins, one cover: 27-18 over Cincinnati as 13.5-point favorites and 27-23 at Arizona laying 6.5 both won without beating the number.

Favorite at home, favorite away

As favorites the Packers went 8-5-1 straight up and covered five times in 14. They were underdogs twice, lost both and covered once: 3-16 at Minnesota on 4 January, getting 13.5.

The road is where the spread record broke down. Two covers in eight away games; 29 teams covered more often away from home, and one matched it. At home it was four in eight.

A unit on Green Bay, game after game

Sixteen priced games, 3.56 units lost. Did the short prices at least pay as favorites? No: the 14 games as favorite lost 1.56 units between them. The worst of it was 13-16 at home to the Carolina Panthers on 2 November, at -1000 and 13.5 points.

The first two months were up 1.52 units. The regular season then closed on four straight losses, and December and January together cost 3.67.

NFC North

Two wins over the Detroit Lions: 27-13 at home, covered, and 31-24 in Detroit on Thanksgiving. A split with the Chicago Bears, 28-21 at home and 16-22 at Chicago, one cover. A split with the Minnesota Vikings, 23-6 at home and 3-16 at Minnesota, covered both. The postseason was one game: a 27-31 Wild Card loss at Chicago.

The total

Nine overs and eight unders gave the total no lean. The 40-40 tie at Dallas in September was the highest-scoring Packers game of the year.
