Wednesday is a massive day in the sports world. A big reason for this is the epic slate of NBA games.
The money line bets do not have much value, but the spreads are juicy. Here are my top picks for Wednesday’s games.
Boston Celtics vs. Charlotte Hornets

Best Bet: Celtics -7.5
The Boston Celtics are turning into a championship-caliber team right before our eyes. Jayson Tatum leads the squad, and he has been rolling as of late. Tatum is 39-27 and .500 ATS. They have been on a roll as of late.
The Celtics are 14-2 SU in their last 16 games. They have also been dominant ATS when playing Charlotte.
Boston is 14-5-1 ATS in their last 20 games against Charlotte. They are also 9-3 ATS in their last 20 games on the road against Charlotte.
The Hornets have a lot of players who are exciting, but the numbers say hammer the Celtics. Charlotte is just 2-9 SU in their last 11 games at home.
Chicago Bulls vs. Detroit Pistons
Best Bet: Pistons +6
The Detroit Pistons have been one of the best bad teams in the NBA when it comes to covering spreads. The team is 18-47 on the season, but they are 33-31-1 ATS.
Cade Cunningham has been fantastic in his past games. This is the reason the Pistons have been covering at a rapid pace.
Cunningham is coming off a 28 point performance on Monday against the Hawks. Detroit won this game outright as a heavy underdog. The Pistons have won four of their past five, and they will host the sliding Bulls on Wednesday.
Chicago has lost five straight games, so it’s a big ask for them to win by seven points. The team is 0-5 ATS in their past five games. They have dominated Detroit, but I need to bet on the hot hand.
Orlando Magic vs. New Orleans Pelicans
Magic vs. Pelicans Predictions
Best Bet: Pelicans -8.5
The New Orleans Pelicans will be one of the best teams in the NBA in the coming seasons. The team is 27-38, but .500 ATS this season. The Magic are 16-50 on the season and better ATS.
These two teams do not shine in the record book, but New Orleans is much better than Orlando. The Pelicans are favored by 8.5 points, and they are 4-2 ATS in their past six games. They have struggled against Orlando at home in the past, but this team is different in 2022.
If Brandon Ingram plays, he is the man to watch. He is coming off a 38 point and nine-assist performance on Sunday against the Nuggets.
Denver Nuggets vs. Sacramento Kings
Best Bet: Nuggets -4.5
The Nuggets at -4.5 could be the juiciest spread of the Wednesday slate. Both teams have 31 wins ATS, but the Nuggets are 39-26 on the year compared to the Kings at 24-43.
Denver has been hit with some injuries, but they are finding a way to recover. The team has won nine of their past ten games. They had an ugly loss to OKC, but the Nuggets have been so consistent.
They are also 9-4 ATS in their past 13 contests. The Kings are just 2-7 SU in their past nine games, and a five-point spread is very slim.
