It’s championship week in the sport of college basketball, and that means that the action will get even more exciting. The bigger conferences are just getting going on Tuesday, while other smaller leagues will be crowning a champion.
Since there are so many games taking place, this will also lead to some great betting opportunities. It’s even better to use different betting options, and here are four of the best bets to make on Tuesday, March 8.
Moneyline Underdog: Wagner Seahawks +155
The Northeast Conference Tournament title will feature the Wagner Seahawks against the Bryant Bulldogs. This is the matchup that most expected to see in this conference, and it should lead to a terrific game on Tuesday night.
Bryant comes into Tuesday night having won six straight games, and one of those was an eight-point win over Wagner. The Seahawks have lost just five times all year, but it’s pretty clear that Bryant is a tough matchup for them.
Don’t expect much separation in this game at all, and that’s why taking the upset is the way to go. Bet on Wagner +155 as they stun Bryant to win the NEAC.
Spread Pick: Saint Mary’s Gaels +13.0
Saint Mary’s vs. Gonzaga Prediction
The West Coast Conference will also be crowning a winner on Tuesday night, and it will be Saint Mary’s and Gonzaga meeting up in the title game. The Gaels are a 13.0 point underdog despite upsetting Gonzaga in the regular-season finale.
Gonzaga is clearly a more complete team, but Saint Mary’s is one of the few teams that isn’t afraid of the Bulldogs. Saint Mary’s is going to try and slow this game down, and that strategy just worked over a week ago.
The Bulldogs are going to get some revenge, but Saint Mary’s will keep this game within 10 points.

Game Total Pick: NDSU / SDSU Over 151.0
The Summit League Championship will feature the North Dakota State Bison taking on the South Dakota State Jackrabbits. There is no love lost between these teams, and that should lead to an epic game on Tuesday night.
SDSU is a 5.5-point betting favorite in this one, but you shouldn’t even be focusing on picking a winner. Instead, looking at the total points and placing an over/under wager is the best way to go.
The over/under is set at just 151 points, and that feels way too low for this game. SDSU is scoring over 87 points per game, and NDSU is over 75 points per night.
This game will be played at a fast pace, and taking the over is the best way to go.
Parlay: Northern Kentucky -2.0 / Bellarmine -2.0
If you are looking for a bigger win than simply placing a pre-game wager, then it would be wise to put together a two-team parlay. Even though we have already identified three great betting opportunities, there are still some other great options.
Northern Kentucky takes on Wright State in the Horizon League, and the Norse have won five straight games. Wright State has been playing well of late also, but NKU is simply the better team.
Bellarmine is in an interesting situation as they can win the ASUN title but still won’t be able to play in the NCAA Tournament. This is a strange rule affecting the school, but it won’t keep them from playing well on Tuesday night.
Both of these games have slim two-point spreads, and each game should be a battle. Put together a two-team parlay and bet on NKU and Bellarmine -2.0.
