2025 WWE SummerSlam Odds and Predictions

Last Updated on

For the first time ever, WWE SummerSlam will be a two-night event and the promotion’s second biggest event of the year will take place on August 2 and August 3, live from MetLife Stadium.

This weekend’s event marks the 38th installment of the popular SummerSlam franchise. And, it’s a loaded PPV that is quietly rivaling what the WWE did at WrestleMania 41 this year.

Both nights of this epic PPV are stacked with popular feuds, world championship matches, and the company’s biggest stars.

Without any further delay, let’s take a closer look at the available WWE SummerSlam odds, courtesy of the top sports betting sites, and make our WWE SummerSlam predictions. RIP Hulk Hogan!

As of this writing, most of the SummerSlam odds have been released. And, as you can see, the triple threat Women’s Championship match featuring Naomi, Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky now has the largest odds for the entire two-night event. Naomi’s odds doubled since earlier in the week. Previously, Roman Reigns’ match was the biggest odds but that’s fallen from -1600 to -500.

There are a few other championship matches that also have large betting odds. However, sportsbooks have given us two or three matches with close odds like Solo Sikoa vs. Jacob Fatu and Dominik Mysterio vs. AJ Styles.

SummerSlam Predictions for Night One

The following WWE predictions are for SummerSlam Night One, which begins at 6pm ET on Saturday, August 2:

WWE Singles Match

  • Sami Zayn (-270)
  • Karrion Kross (+180)

These two stars have been involved in a feud since early 2025. Karrion Kross has targeted Sami Zayn with a pipe on more than one occasion. He’s also cost Zayn a number of matches.

The two wrestled at Night of Champions where Zayn got the victory. Since then, Kross has continued to try and destroy Zayn.

Despite not having a championship belt on the line, these two men have made this feud worthy of a spot on SummerSlam. More importantly, they’ve made it entertaining enough for fans to care about.

Zayn got the win on the last PPV event. So, I am taking Kross to cheat to win this weekend in New Jersey. It will further their rivalry and set up a more heated rubber match down the line.

This pick is flying in the face of the sportsbooks who have Zayn as a sizable betting favorite. I just don’t see the point in having Kross lose two PPV matches in a row to Zayn. Keep the feud alive by Kross winning and set up a third bout with higher stakes.

Bet: Karrion Kross (+180)

Women’s Championship

  • (C)Tiffany Stratton (+300)
  • Jade Cargill (-500)

Night of Champions saw the conclusion of the Queen of the Ring tournament where Jade Cargill was crowned the victor. A few weeks later, at Evolution, Tiffany Stratton retained her title which set up this SummerSlam match.

We all know that Jade Cargill has been slowly brought along as she evolved as a wrestler inside the ring. Cargill has all the ingredients to be a megastar but was held back by unpolished wrestling skills.

Well, I think the time has come where Cargill will finally put all the pieces together and win her first major singles title in the WWE.

The sportsbooks certainly think that she will win, and it’s hard to imagine that she loses when the victory could launch her into another stratosphere.

I’m curious to see how the odds shift throughout the week, leading into the PPV. My hope is that we can get more value on Cargill with her odds shrinking.

Bet: Jade Cargill (-500)

Orton & Jelly Roll vs. McIntyre & Paul

  • Randy Orton & Jelly Roll (-400)
  • Drew McIntyre & Logan Paul (+250)

Let’s set the table for this match. Drew McIntyre returned after a brief hiatus and began mocking Randy Orton for losing to Cody Rhodes in the King of the Ring tournament. So, Orton gave him an RKO.

Logan Paul came out the next week and harassed Jelly Roll who was making a guest appearance. Orton would intervene, which led to McIntyre sneak attacking Orton.

Eventually, it would set up a match at SNME 40 where Orton beat McIntyre. After the match, Jelly Roll and Logan Paul got involved which led to McIntyre laying out Mr. Roll with a claymore kick.

There’s no way that the WWE has Tam Jelly RKO lose this match. The whole reason for bringing in Jelly Roll is to get the cheap mainstream attention and pop.

I think this is the lowest we will see these odds as Team Jelly RKO’s line will only grow, which means less value for us.

Bet: Randy Orton & Jelly Roll (-400)

Women’s Tag-Team Championship

  • (C)The Judgment Day (+300)
  • Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss (-500)

It took persistency and time before Alexa Bliss could convince Charlotte Flair to team up with her. At Evolution, the duo participated in a fatal four-way match for the Women’s Tag-Team titles.

The champs would retain, but Bliss and Flair weren’t pinned. So, they convinced the GM to give the duo a tag-team title shot at SummerSlam.

This has “Flair heel turn” written all over it. It’s a page from her father’s book. So, whether Flair turns on Bliss now or during a tag-team title run, it’s going to happen.

The oddsmakers feel that the superstar duo will win on Saturday night, and it’s hard to argue against that. Especially considering the star power of Bliss and Flair. Plus, neither have any other major feud to roll into.

With that said, the odds have dropped for Flair and Bliss as we get closer to the match. The challengers went from -700 to -500. Seems that the books are backtracking a little bit here. And, yet, I have no desire to change my pick at all.

Bet: Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss (-500)

World Heavyweight Championship

  • (C)Gunther (+170)
  • CM Punk (-260)

I don’t know about you all, but I liked the intensity from Gunther towards CM Punk about their upcoming match. However, I do have a concern.

Gunther ended the fairy tale run of Jey Uso roughly two months after he won the title at WM 41 over The Ring General. Prior to that, Gunther held the title for over six months.

So, are we to believe that Gunther is just going to lose the belt after eight weeks?

Well, I wouldn’t put it past the WWE to make Gunther a transitional champion in order to take the belt of Jey Uso and put it on CM Punk. But, then why would they have Gunther retire Goldberg just to lose to Punk?

None of this makes sense. And, the odds for this match make even less sense. Looking around at other sportsbooks, and Punk is as low as -200.

My only hope is that Punk wins and then Rollins cashes in and shows everyone that his knee injury is a work. What a fantastic heel move that would be if he steals the belt from Punk right after he wins.

As silly as I think it is to have Gunther lose so soon, all the signs are pointing towards a Punk victory at SummerSlam.

Bet: CM Punk (-260)

Reigns & Uso vs. Breakker & Reed

  • Roman Reigns & Jey Uso (-500)
  • Bron Breakker & Bronson Reed (+300)

This storyline lost a lot of steam after the Rollins injury. The return of Roman Reigns would’ve set up a PPV match with Rollins. Unfortunately, we’ll have to wait. Unless it’s all a work, which I hope for.

As for this tag-team match, unless there’s a third member joining the Wiseman’s Stable, this is clearly a glorified squash match. Reigns and Uso will win. Reed will take the pinfall because the WWE will want to keep Breakker looking strong and being pushed up the ladder.

Let’s talk about the odds for a moment here. Earlier this week, the betting odds were listed at -1600 for Team Reigns and +600 for Team Wiseman. As you can see, these odds have undergone a massive shakeup. Team Reigns is now just a -500 favorite, while Team Wiseman dropped in half to a +300 underdog.

Normally, a massive shift in the odds like this would give me some concern. However, this Roman Reigns on the big stage. And, the Big Dog has already done the job this year on a major PPV.

Bet: Roman Reigns & Jey Uso (-500)

SummerSlam Predictions for Night Two

The following WWE predictions are for SummerSlam Night One, which begins at 6pm ET on Sunday, August 3:

Tag-Team Championship TLC Match

  • Wyatt Sicks (+125)
  • Andrade & Rey Fenix (+150)
  • Fraxiom (+250)
  • DIY (+700)
  • The Street Profits (+900)
  • Motor City Machine Guns (+1000)

This six-team match will be held under the stipulation of Tables, Ladders and Chairs. In other words, it’s going to be absolute carnage with plenty of Holy Sh*T moments.

Roughly two months ago, The Wyatt Sicks returned after being off of programing since December of last year. They attacked both Fraxiom and the champs – Street Profits. But the attacks didn’t stop there. The demonic group decided to go after the rest of the tag-team division over the next several weeks as they also took out the Motor City Machine Guns and DIY.

Eventually, the Wyatt Sicks would win the tag-titles and throw the entire tag division into a frenzy. A new team would rise up to challenge the group – Andrade and Rey Fenix. They would earn a title shot, but the match would end in a No Contest, which led to a giant brawl between a number of tag teams. It would also set up this match for Night 2 of SummerSlam.

I love when a heel group just attacks everyone and creates a giant war within a promotion. Considering they’ve only held the belts for about a month, it makes little sense for The Wyatt Sicks to drop the titles so soon, especially after all the WWE has done to reestablish them and make the group important again. I’m sticking with the Wyatt Sicks to keep the titles, but it’s small unit on this one as anything can happen.

Bet: Wyatt Sicks (+125)

Intercontinental Championship

  • (C)Dominik Mysterio (-150)
  • AJ Styles (+110)

These two men were first scheduled to wrestle at Night of Champions but Mysterio was injured and the match was pushed back to SummerSlam.

Dirty Dom would use his “injury” to get out of wrestling Styles over the last month. Eventually, Mysterio would attack Styles and confirm that he was medically cleared to wrestle.

Neither man needs the IC belt as they’re both over with the WWE crowd. Yet, I have a funny feeling that they might actually have Styles win this match on Sunday night.

Styles is one of the best wrestlers of his era. He’s been a forgotten man in the WWE the last few years. Not that the IC belt will do anything to elevate him back to world champion contender, but it will be like a pat on the head and a “good job” from the WWE brass.

The match itself, will be fantastic. However, the result won’t be as exciting as seeing Styles appear at TNA Slammiversary last week.

Bet: AJ Styles (+110)

United States Championship Steel Cage Match

  • (c)Solo Sikoa (-130)
  • Jacob Fatu (-110)

Typically, a steel cage is supposed to keep people from interfering so that the baby face can win fair and square. More than likely, someone is going to interfere in this match to determine the outcome.

Jacob Fatu is incredibly over with the fans and should be moving up the proverbial ladder. Instead, he’s feuding for a secondary title against his cousin.

With that said, notable victories at major PPVs is a sign that someone is getting pushed. I expect that sign to be like the Bat signal on Sunday as Fatu wins a thrilling steel cage match. I wonder if we could ever see a Samoan Batman?

Bet: Jacob Fatu (-110)

Women’s IC Title NO DQ, No Countout, Last Chance Match

  • (C)Becky Lynch (+200)
  • Lyra Valkyria (-300)

These two stars have faced off against each other on a number of occasions. It took a three-way match at Evolution for Becky Lynch to win the IC belt by defeating Bayley and Lyra Valkyria.

The next night on RAW, Valkyria would beat Bayley to earn a title shot. Lynch added the stipulation that if Valkyria loses, then she can’t challenge for the IC title if Lynch holds it. Valkyira also added the stipulations of No Disqualification and No Countout.

The two stars agreed to the stipulations and we have another chapter in what has turned out to be a pleasantly entertaining feud.

As for the winner, it appears that Valkyria is being set up to get the push here. Typically, a No DQ match means there will be interference. Could we see Bayley or Lynch’s next feud interfere?

I was 50/50 on this match’s result until I saw the odds. It’s hard to feel confident in Lynch when the sportsbooks are heavily against her. Go with the sportsbooks and take Valkyria to finally vanquish Lynch.

Bet: Lyra Valkyria (-300)

Women’s World Championship Triple Threat Match

  • (C)Naomi (-800)
  • Rhea Ripley (+250)
  • Iyo Sky (+400)

This is a rematch between the three ladies that competed in a triple-threat at Evolution. That match was supposed to by Iyo Sky vs. Rhea Ripley but Naomi cashed in her MITB contract and made it a three-way title match. Naomi would go on to win the title.

Both Ripley and Sky came out the next night on RAW and demanded a rematch. So, Naomi was ordered to defend her title in another triple threat match.

As you can see by the odds, there’s little doubt as to which wrestler is going to win. As much as I would like to see Ripley as the champ, Naomi will retain.

Bet: Naomi (-800)

Undisputed WWE Championship Street Fight

  • (C)John Cena (+170)
  • Cody Rhodes (-260)

This is a rematch from WM 41 where John Cena defeated Cody Rhodes to win the title. Could we see Rhodes get revenge?

Well, the sportsbooks seem to think so. But, I do not. I have a hard time thinking that Cena will lose at SummerSlam in a Street Fight. This smells like someone is cookin’ up something here.

I wasn’t a fan of having Cena win the belt in the first place. However, I have enjoyed most of his heel work despite the complaints from others.

If Cena loses the belt now, it just feels anticlimactic. I think we see some interference from someone, and I’m hoping it’s The Rock.

Either way, if I was booking this, I would keep the belt on Cena due to interference and let him roll a few more months until Rhodes beats him at Hell in a Cell.

Bet: John Cena (+170)

SummerSlam Prop Bets

Let’s check out some of these last-minute WWE prop bets for the two-night SummerSlam event:

Will Jelly Roll Pin Logan Paul To Win The Match?

  • Yes (-300)
  • No (+200)

Is there really any other outcome here? This seems like the WWE has set it up for Jelly Roll to smash it out of the park by picking up the victory with a pin on Logan Paul. I expect some sort of RKO from Jelly Roll or Randy Orton onto Paul, and then Jelly Roll getting the victory for his team.

Bet: Yes (-300)

Will Karrion Kross Use The Lead Pipe?

  • Yes (+110)
  • No (-150)

If you read my breakdown of this match above, I am taking the Underdog Karrion Kross to win the bout. I think the WWE should continue this feud with each man having a PPV victory. For Kross to pick up the win, I also stated that it would most likely be due to cheating. So, let’s shine up the lead pipe and swing away!

Bet: Yes (+110)

Total Number Of Spears for Team Reigns vs. Team Wiseman

  • Over 5.5 (-200)
  • Under 5.5 (+150)

IF there ever was a match where the participants could do spears for the entire bout, it would be this one. Bron Breakker, Roman Reigns and even Jey Uso love to use the spear. The first two men typically finish off matches with the move. Other than Goldberg, Edge and the late, great Dr. Death Steve Williams, I can’t think of anyone else who uses a spear as much as Breakker and Reigns.

With that said, 5.5 spears seems very low for this match. I think Breakker and Reigns can combine to put it over that mark. Add a spear or two from Jey Uso and we easily eclipse the Over.

Bet: Over 5.5 (-200)

Will Cody Rhodes Turn Heel?

  • Yes (+200)
  • No (-300)

This would be hilarious if the WWE turned John Cena back to a baby face, so that they could turn Cody Rhodes into a heel. It would certainly give more fuel to this feud. It could also spawn a number of storylines following a Rhodes heel turn. With that said, I don’t see the WWE being gutsy enough to do this. Rhodes remains the top baby face of the company and fans remain behind him.

Bet: No (-300)

Will A WWE Female Wrestler Have A Wardrobe Malfunction?

  • Yes (+300)
  • No (-500)

I can’t help but laugh at this prop bet. For all of you WWE fans and bettors sitting in your mom’s basement hoping for this, I would say that you need to get out of the house, get a grip on reality, and make something of your life. In other words, say your prayers, take your vitamins, and hit the gym like Hulkamania.

RIP Hulk Hogan, you were one of the greatest of all-time. A true icon of this industry and a pop culture star!

Bet: No (-500)
