The NBA action continues this Monday, March 13th, with seven match-ups on the schedule. You will be pleased to learn that I have scoured the bookies’ odds to find the best NBA player props for today’s games. Read on to explore my picks!
Killian Hayes – Under 14.5 Points (-120)
Due to a dismal 11-game losing streak, the Detroit Pistons find themselves rock bottom of the Eastern Conference. For that reason, I expect the Pistons to endure another difficult night when they host the Indiana Pacers on Monday, as the Pacers have won six of their past 10 games.
Detroit’s Killian Hayes notched 17 points against Indiana last time out, but the 21-year-old has failed to score over 14.5 points in 10 of his previous 11 appearances. Accordingly, I’m backing Hayes to score under 14.5 points at Little Caesars Arena.
Jaren Jackson Jr – Over 7.5 Rebounds (-120)
Jaren Jackson Jr. is best known for his blocking ability. In fact, the Memphis Grizzlies superstar boasts the best blocks per game average in the NBA this season (3.2). It is worth noting, however, that Jackson Jr. has contributed plenty of rebounds in recent weeks.
The 23-year-old forward has chalked up 7+ rebounds in each of his last three outings, helping the Grizzlies defeat the Dallas Mavericks last time out. Memphis faces Dallas again on Monday, and I expect Jackson Jr. to bag over 7.5 rebounds in the process.
Trae Young – Over 10.5 Assists (+110)
Only two players – James Harden and Tyrese Haliburton – have a better assists per game average than Trae Young this season. Indeed, Young averages 10.1 assists per game in 2022-23, and he added 13 to his tally against the Boston Celtics on the weekend.
When you look at the bigger picture, Young has registered 10+ assists in nine of his previous 14 games. That’s why I’m backing the Atlanta Hawks guard to notch over 10.5 assists when the Minnesota Timberwolves visit State Farm Arena on Monday.
Kevin Porter – Under 16.5 Points (-105)
The Houston Rockets welcome the Boston Celtics to Toyota Center on Monday, with a giant gulf separating the teams. While the Rockets find themselves rock bottom of the Western Conference, the Celtics occupy second place in the Eastern Conference.
Since returning for a foot injury earlier this month, Houston’s Kevin Porter has scored 64 points in five appearances (12.8 points per game). With that in mind, I expect the 22-year-old to register under 16.5 points when high-flying Boston comes to town.
Domantas Sabonis – Over 11.5 Rebounds (-140)
Domantas Sabonis has established himself as the king of rebounds this season. The Lithuanian superstar has racked up a whopping 783 rebounds in 64 outings, meaning he boasts the best rebounds per game average in the NBA (12.3).
Excluding the NBA All-Star Game, the Sacramento Kings forward has recorded 10+ rebounds in 11 of his past 12 appearances. The Kings face a tricky test against the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday, but I’m confident that Sabonis will notch over 11.5 rebounds once again.
