We have six NBA match-ups to enjoy and bet on this Sunday, February 5th. You will be pleased to learn that I have scoured the odds to track down the best NBA player props picks for today’s games. Let’s get right into it!
Paolo Banchero – Over 6.5 Rebounds (-125)
It’s safe to say Paolo Banchero is enjoying a phenomenal debut season in the NBA. Indeed, the Orlando Magic rookie is averaging 20.3 points per game and 6.5 rebounds per game, in addition to 3.7 assists per game. As a result, he is on course to be named Rookie of the Year.
On Sunday, the Magic face the Charlotte Hornets, who find themselves second from bottom in the Eastern Conference following three straight losses. I expect Orlando to dominate Charlotte and I also expect Banchero to produce another standout performance in the process.
Darius Garland – Over 7.5 Assists (-135)
When it comes to guards, only three players average more assists per game than Darius Garland this season. The Cleveland Cavaliers star is averaging 8.2 assists per game in 2022-23, so I can see him wreaking havoc against the Indiana Pacers, who have lost 11 of their previous 13 outings.
After racking up 13 assists against the Oklahoma City Thunder last month, Garland notched 10 assists against the Los Angeles Clippers before adding 11 to his tally against the Memphis Grizzlies last time out. With that in mind, he shouldn’t struggle to register over 7.5 assists against the Pacers.
Pascal Siakam – Under 24.5 Points (-110)
The Memphis Grizzlies head into Sunday’s clash against the Toronto Raptors sitting second in the Western Conference. Meanwhile, the Raptors find themselves fourth from bottom in the Eastern Conference.
Pascal Siakam has arguably been Toronto’s standout performer this season, but he looks set to endure a tough time against high-flying Memphis. Having achieved under 24.5 points in 10 of his last 12 appearances, I can see Siakam falling short of that mark against the Grizzlies.
Domantas Sabonis – Over 12.5 Rebounds (-105)
No player averages more rebounds per game than Domantas Sabonis this season. Averaging 12.4 rebounds per game in 2022-23, the Sacramento Kings superstar has cemented his status as one of the top forwards in the NBA.
Having racked up a whopping 16 rebounds against the Pacers last time out, Sabonis will be confident of recording over 12.5 rebounds against the New Orleans Pelicans, who have lost 10 of their previous 11 games.
Nikola Jokic – Over 10.5 Assists (-135)
Nuggets vs. Timberwolves Picks
Only one player – Tyrese Haliburton – has a better assists-per-game average than Nikola Jokic this season. Jokic is averaging 10.1 assists per game in 2022-23, having notched a total of 41 assists across his past three outings.
Thanks largely to Jokic’s exploits, the Denver Nuggets are sitting pretty at the summit of the Western Conference, seven places above the Minnesota Timberwolves. I’m backing the Nuggets to extend their winning streak to four games on Sunday, with Jokic playing a starring role once again.
