NBA Player Props Picks for Friday, February 3rd 2023

If you’re looking for the best NBA player props for Friday, February 3rd, you have certainly come to the right place. Below, I go over the top NBA player props picks for today’s games, sharing my reasoning behind each wager. Are you ready? Let’s get this show on the road!

NBA Bookies

Kristaps Porzingis – Over 2.5 Assists (+150)

Trail Blazers vs. Wizards Picks

The Washington Wizards head into Friday’s clash against the Portland Trail Blazers on a six-game winning run. Since the Trail Blazers have lost four of their last eight encounters, the Wizards are expected to extend their hot streak on home soil.

Washington’s Kristaps Porzingis returned from an ankle injury to notch 17 points, nine rebounds and seven assists in a 21-point victory over the San Antonio Spurs last time out. With that in mind, odds of +150 for Porzingis to get over 2.5 assists against Portland are too good to ignore.

NBA Betting Odds

Jayson Tatum – Over 30.5 Points (-105)

Suns vs. Celtics Picks

Having won 11 of their previous 14 games, the Boston Celtics sit at the summit of the Eastern Conference with a record of 37-15. On Friday, the Celtics host the Phoenix Suns (27-26), who find themselves seventh in the Western Conference.

Only three players average more points per game than Boston’s Jayson Tatum this season. Averaging 31.1 points per game in 2022-23, Tatum looks set to produce another high-scoring performance against Phoenix.

Joel Embiid – Over 33.5 Points (-115)

76ers vs. Spurs Picks

Funnily enough, Joel Embiid is one of the players averaging more points per game than Tatum. In fact, Embiid averages more points per game than anyone in the NBA (33.5), having racked up 1524 points in 49 appearances this season.

Since returning from a foot injury last month, Embiid has scored 30+ points in eight of his ten outings. The Philadelphia 76ers superstar has also notched 35+ points on four occasions since returning from injury, so I can see him running riot against the struggling San Antonio Spurs.

NBA Predictions

Anthony Edwards – Over 6.5 Rebounds (+110)

Magic vs. Timberwolves Picks

Anthony Edwards may still be just 21, but he is already establishing himself as one of the brightest talents in the NBA. Indeed, the Minnesota Timberwolves guard has dished up points, rebounds and assists on a super-consistent basis this season.

Having achieved 6+ rebounds in each of his previous five appearances, Edwards looks destined to enjoy plenty of success against the Orlando Magic on Friday, as the Magic find themselves third from bottom in the Eastern Conference with a record of 20-32.

Walker Kessler – Over 1.5 Blocks (-190)

Hawks vs. Jazz Picks

Only three players have achieved more blocks per game than Walker Kessler this season. Kessler averages 2.1 blocks per game. The Utah Jazz youngster will be confident of frustrating the Atlanta Hawks at Vivnit Arena.

Kessler has racked up 103 blocks across 50 outings in 2022-23, meaning he sits 32 blocks clear of the next-best player on the leaderboard. After winning five of their last seven games – and seven of their previous 10 – the Jazz should overcome the Hawks, with Kessler starring once again.
