Serrano is favored to win by points or decision (-143), although her odds to win by KO/TKO (+210) are very attractive. Meanwhile, you can get odds of +650 for Cruz to win by points or decision and +1100 for the Mexican to win by KO/TKO.

The incentive for Serrano to win at MSG is colossal. Indeed, if she triumphs against Cruz, the 34-year-old will become the first-ever Puerto Rican fighter to be crowned an undisputed boxing champion.
Serrano has held the WBO title since 2019 and secured both the WBC and IBO belts in 2021. Now, she has the opportunity to clinch the WBA title and become the bona fide queen of the weight class.
That said, Serrano won’t have it all her own way against Cruz. “Dinamita” has defended her WBA belt on two occasions since claiming it in 2021, extending her winning streak to 14 fights in the process.
It is worth noting, however, that Serrano has held nine major world titles across seven different weight divisions, meaning she finds herself in the record books when it comes to female fighters.
Serrano suffered only the second defeat of her professional career last year, losing to Katie Taylor. Still, she bounced straight back against Sarah Mahfoud, and I can see her dispatching Cruz to secure all four belts.

Here are my recommended Amanda Serrano vs. Erika Cruz picks. Since I’m confident that Serrano will win by points or decision, there are a couple of wagers that stand out to me.
Amanda Serrano by Points or Decision (-143)
Serrano used to deliver plenty of knockouts, but she hasn’t won a fight via KO/TKO since March 2021. Given that each of the Puerto Rican’s previous four bouts have been decided by decision, I expect her to win by points or decision at MSG.
Will the Fight Go the Distance? Yes (-200)
I’m backing Serrano to win by points or decision, so it only makes sense that I also back the fight to go the distance. Not only have Serrano’s previous four fights gone the distance, but each of Cruz’s last two bouts have also reached the final bell.
