The Golden Knights had another great season last year with 40 wins and 14 losses. They are having a weird season to this point. They have certainly looked brilliant at times and then hardly mediocre at other times. They lost a few games, now they are back on track with their winning ways. The last thing that teams want to do is start the season in the hole, it’s hard to climb out. Not every team can do what the St. Louis Blues did a few years ago.
Montreal is struggling to keep their heads above water and find themselves smack in the middle of a d-game losing streak. This team looks depleted, but we don’t think that’s the case. The Canadiens are rebuilding, that’s no secret, last season they went 24-21-11 overall, and 13-11-4, at home. They were not terrible but they are not where they want to be and it shows. Last season they scored just 2.8 goals per game.
The Knights are in the middle of a road trip and their last game was against Ottawa, on Thursday night. They easily won that affair, 5-1. If tonight’s game was the first of the road trip and the Knights had made the 3,000-mile roadie, it would be tough to want to bet on them. Those types of road trips are difficult and it’s hard to pick up wins. This is not the case tonight, throw that out the window.
Both come in scoring just over 2-goals per game and allowing just over 3 per game. This stat must improve for the Knights if they want to be competitive in the west. Tonight will be a grind it out, beat on each other kind of slugfest.

Jazz (7-1, 6-2-0 ATS) @ Heat (6-2, 6-2-0 ATS)
7:30 ET, FTX Arena, Miami, FL
Line: Heat -3.5, ML -165, O/U 213.5
The Jazz are hot, can they keep it going in Miami against a Heat team that has been playing very well themselves, or is this where the three-game winning streak comes to a halt? There are some great props in this game so be sure to check with your bookmaker for the latest offerings. We are looking for a close one and more of a defensive effort. The Jazz are a long way from home and keeping the winning streak alive will be difficult. Look for the Heat to battle and be too difficult at home.
Heat (ML -165) (Under 213.5) (Heat 1 st Half -150)
Parlay: (Heat -3.5, Vegas Golden Knights -110)

Tonight’s action gives us some great options in two sports. There is a full lineup of NHL, and NBA that we have not looked at here so be sure to take a look, dial up the bookie and jump in for a winning Saturday night. Let’s get both the NBA, and NHL season kicked off the right way. Good luck.
