NHL Player Props Picks for Tuesday, January 10th 2023

We have a bumper batch of NHL games to enjoy this Tuesday, January 10th. With a whopping ten match-ups on the schedule, there is no shortage of NHL player props to take advantage of.

NHL Sportsbooks

Will Jack Hughes extend his scoring streak against the Carolina Hurricanes? Can Jason Robertson remain in the race for the Rocket Richard Trophy? Could Tage Thompson stop the Seattle Kraken’s winning run? Keep reading to discover my NHL player props picks for Tuesday.

Tage Thompson – Over 0.5 Goals (+105)

Kraken vs. Sabres Picks

There is no hiding the fact that Seattle is among the league’s in-form teams at the moment. Having claimed five consecutive victories, the Kraken will be confident of beating the Buffalo Sabres, who have lost two of their previous four outings.

That said, Buffalo’s Tage Thompson will not go down without a fight. The 25-year-old sits third on the NHL’s goals leaderboard after netting four across his previous three appearances, so I’m confident that he will find the net once again on Tuesday.

NHL Betting Odds

Kirill Kaprizov – Over 3.5 Shots on Goal (-110)

Wild vs. Rangers Picks

Kirill Kaprizov has registered six shots on goal in each of his last three outings. When you look at the bigger picture, the Minnesota Wild winger has chalked up 158 shots on goal this season – putting him twelfth on the league’s SOG leaderboard.

Minnesota sits third in the Central Division following a run of nine wins in 13 games. With the inconsistent New York Rangers up next for the Wild, Kaprizov shouldn’t struggle to record over 3.5 shots on goal.

Jack Hughes – Over 0.5 Goals (+140)

Devils vs. Hurricanes Picks

To say that Jack Hughes is one of the hottest players in the NHL right now would be an understatement. Indeed, the New Jersey Devils superstar has racked up eight goals, two assists and 37 shots on goal across the past five games.

On Tuesday, the Devils face the Carolina Hurricanes, who suffered their third successive defeat last time out. Needless to say, Hughes will fancy his chances of finding the net once again at PNC Arena.

Expert NHL Predictions

Erik Karlsson – Over 0.5 Assists (-115)

Sharks vs. Coyotes Picks

Only one player – Connor McDavid – has registered more assists than Erik Karlsson this season. The two- time James Norris Memorial Trophy winner averages exactly one assist per game in 2022-23, having notched 41 assists in as many outings.

Next up, Karlsson’s San Jose Sharks face the Arizona Coyotes, who carry the longest current losing streak in the NHL. After losing each of their previous five games, the Coyotes look set to suffer at the hands of Karlsson.

Jason Robertson – Over 0.5 Goals (+130)

Panthers vs. Avalanche Picks

Jason Robertson finds himself sixth in the Rocket Richard Trophy charts, having netted 28 goals in 41 appearances this season. Last time out, Robertson scored twice against the Florida Panthers – meaning he has notched four goals in his last four games.

Robertson’s Dallas Stars sit at the summit of the Central Division, so they will be confident of dispatching the New York Islanders, who sit third from bottom in the Metropolitan Division. I expect Roberton to enhance his goals tally in the process.
