This Saturday, the premier mixed martial arts company in Poland will host a massive event. Former 5-time World Strongest Man winner, Mariusz Pudzianowski will take on the KSW knockout king, legend Michal Materla in the main event of KSW 70. The 9-fight event will be for sure must-see television.

Mariusz Pudzianowski Vs. Michal Materla Prediction
In the main event for Friday’s KSW card, two legends will be facing off. Pudzianowski is a 45-year-old freak athlete, and he will have a tall task in facing a former KSW middleweight champion Materla. Materla has for sure been up against the tougher competition in his combat sports career, while Pudzianowski has done a great job promoting the sport in Poland after his strong man career was done.
Pudzianowski is coming off an impressive 18-second KO against a physically massive 2-0 fighter. In his fight before that, he faced a guy making his debut. These are things to worry about, knowing he hasn’t been facing nearly the same caliber opponents as Materla. Materla (31-8) has 16 more bouts than Pudzianowski (16-7) in his MMA career. I believe Materla’s fight IQ, footwork, and technique will be too much for Pudzianowski to handle.
Best Bet: Materla to win in the second round +400
Daniel Omielanczuk Vs. Ricardo Prasel Prediction

The Poland native, Omielanczuk is the big favorite in this matchup, as he should be. He had a stint in the UFC where he had some big victories over two undefeated prospects, and even the legendary Aleksei Oleinik. If he can find a way to win over one of the best submission artists in MMA history, I don’t see how he will have issues with Prasel.
Prasel will enjoy a massive 7 inch height advantage. Look for him to shoot early for a takedown and if Omielanczuk can stuff that, it will be a tough night for Prasel. Omielanczuk will look for a finish in his debut for the hometown organization.
Best Bet: Omielanczuk to win by TKO/KO -188
Rafal Kijańczuk Vs. Ivan Erslan Prediction
Ivan Erslan is a top 3 light heavyweight in Eastern Europe and will be a tough code to crack for the Poland native Kijanczuk. Erslan only has one blemish in his pro career with a loss via rear-naked choke. Erslan is very athletic for a light heavyweight and a patient striker. He has a high guard and will look for big shots at opportune times.
Erslan has a chance to put on a great performance and move closer to his goal to fight in the UFC. He knows he is on top of the division in Europe and wants to test himself against the best on a global scale.
Best Bet: Erslan to win in the second round +400
