Week 14 was a good one for favorites. Will that continue in Week 15? Road teams and road underdogs are enjoying an outstanding season thus far. A few may be worth backing in Week 15.
The NFL playoff picture is still a bit murky. Week 15 will help to clear it up somewhat. Here’s a look at the top five NFL Week 15 ATS picks.
Texans vs. Jaguars Week 15 Spread
Texans vs. Jaguars Predictions
These are two of the worst offenses in the NFL, but Houston has the better defense. They are ranked sixth against the pass this season. Jags QB Trevor Lawrence leads a Jags offense that has scored just 64 points over its last seven games.
Somehow, the Jags are a 3-point home chalk. Remember, Houston won the first meeting of the season 37-21. Plus, road underdogs are on fire this season. Road dogs are 70-51-1 ATS so far this season. Then, you add in this tidbit. Road underdogs of +3 to +6 on a three-game losing streak have covered 61 percent (42-27 ATS) of the time since 2003. Back the Texans.
Best ATS Pick: TEXANS +3
Titans vs. Steelers Week 15 Spread
Titans vs. Steelers Predictions
This one comes down to Pittsburgh head coach Mike Tomlin. He thrives in the underdog role. This is a game that the Steelers should have no business being competitive in. Tomlin says otherwise.
For his career, Tomlin is 43-22-2 ATS when the Steelers are an underdog. The record is even better later in the season. From Week 5 on, Tomlin’s Steelers are 35-13-1 ATS as an underdog. Plus, Tomlin is 13-3-2 ATS (81%) as a home underdog. Gotta back the Steelers in this one.
Best ATS Pick: STEELERS +1.5

Cardinals vs. Lions Week 15 Spread
Cardinals vs. Lions Predictions
One look at the injury report and you get the idea that it might be worth backing Detroit. Arizona comes to the Motor City as a 13.5-point favorite on Sunday.
The thing is, the Cardinals may be playing without WR DeAndre Hopkins and running backs James Conner and Chase Edmonds. All three are listed as questionable on the injury report.
Detroit is just 1-11-1 on the season, but head coach Dan Campbell can say this about his team. They play hard. That’s why the Lions are 8-5 ATS this season. They get another one on Sunday.
Best ATS Pick: LIONS +13.5
Seahawks vs. Rams Week 15 Spread
The Seahawks have won two straight and QB Russell Wilson appears to have resurrected the Seattle offense. The Rams, on the other hand, got back on track with a huge win over the Cardinals last week.
It was L.A.’s second straight win too after a three-game losing skid. The Rams won the earlier game this season 26-17 covering the spread as a 2.5-point favorite. They’ll do it again on Sunday.
Best ATS Pick: RAMS -4.5
Packers vs. Ravens Week 15 Spread
Packers vs. Ravens Predictions
The Packers have the best record against the spread in the NFL this year at 11-2. The Ravens might be without QB Lamar Jackson who has a high ankle sprain.
Ravens head coach John Harbaugh has said that Jackson will play, but how effective he will be remains a concern. Whether he plays or not, it’s tough to bet against Green Bay QB Aaron Rodgers. The Packers quarterback is 119-76 ATS since 2009. Plus, he’s healthy. Jackson is not.
Best ATS Pick: PACKERS -4.5
