Each offense is capable of putting up some huge numbers on offense, but not against these starting pitchers. Verlander and Walker are going to shut down each offense on Wednesday, and the under is going to hit in this game.
Atlanta Braves at Philadelphia Phillies
Best Bet: Under 8.5 Runs
A pair of surging NL East teams are meeting up on Wednesday in what should amount to a terrific pitching matchup. Kyle Wright takes on Ranger Suarez, and both of those starting pitchers have been able to shut down opponents all season long.
The only major concern in this game is the fact that both teams have power, but the Braves and Phillies are going to struggle to get some hits. Four runs should be more than enough to win this game, and that will make the over/under be less than 8.5 runs.
Los Angeles Dodgers at Colorado Rockies
Best Bet: Under 11 Runs
The fact that this game is set to take place at Coors Field has pushed the over/under to 11 total runs, but don’t be fooled by this high total. Los Angeles comes into this game as a huge betting favorite, but it’s all about the total runs.
Los Angeles will send Julio Urias to the mound on Wednesday, and he is going to put up a low number in this game. The Dodgers are always capable of breaking out in a big way, but they aren’t going to get to 11 runs by themselves.
