NFL Week 15: Best Favorites to Cover ATS

Week 15 of the NFL is here, and that means it’s almost time for playoff football. Before the playoffs roll around, don’t forget to finish the regular season strong. The favorites look solid on this weekend’s Sunday slate.

Best NFL Betting Sites

Here are my top NFL favorites to cover on Sunday.

Cleveland Browns at New York Giants Picks

Best Bet: Browns -6.5

The only thing going for the Giants in this football game is that they’re the home team. However, this support is minimal, considering that there will be no fans inside MetLife Stadium on Sunday night.

The Browns will enter this game at 9-4 on the year. The Browns are the most underrated team in football.

The team is in second place in the AFC North. The Browns would also have a Wild Card berth for the playoffs if the season ended today.

The Giants are still alive in the division hunt. They’re in second place in the NFC East.

Don’t get too excited because this is the worst division in football. The Giants have won four of their last five, but things couldn’t be worse in New York in Week 15.

COVID-19 is running rampant through the Giants facility. Offensive coordinator Jason Garrett will not call the offense due to a positive COVID-19 test.

Daniel Jones will be sidelined with an injury giving Colt McCoy the start. Baker Mayfield and the Browns will be a touchdown better than the Giants on Sunday night.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Atlanta Falcons Picks

Best Bet: Buccaneers -6.5

2020 has not been Atlanta’s year in any way, shape, or form. The franchise had to fire its head coach, and the Falcons are tied for last place in the NFC South.

Atlanta is a 6.5-point home underdog on Sunday over Tampa Bay. The Buccaneers have been inconsistent this season. However, they’re better than the Falcons.

This will be the first meeting of the season between the division foes. Tom Brady has been phenomenal when he is on his game this year.

Ronald Jones II will not play on Sunday, but the Buccaneers are still loaded in the backfield. The Falcons struggle in the secondary, so I think Brady will have a big afternoon.

The Buccaneers are 7-6 ATS this season. The team is currently on a two-game point spread win streak. This streak will move to three games when time expires in Atlanta on Sunday.

NFL Week 15 Predictions

Kansas City Chiefs at New Orleans Saints Picks

Best Bet: Chiefs -3

This is the best game of the weekend in the NFL. Kansas City is 12-1, while New Orleans is 10-3.

Each team is in play for the top seed in their respective conferences. This makes this game significant for both squads.

Drew Brees is expected to return from injury this weekend in New Orleans. I believe the Chiefs have the edge because of this fact.

If the Chiefs can get pressure on Brees, he probably won’t be too comfortable coming off a collapsed lung. The Saints are solid in the secondary, but Patrick Mahomes isn’t your typical quarterback.

Mahomes is the best quarterback that the Saints have seen all year. Since this is an AFC vs. NFC matchup, many Saints have never been on the field with Mahomes.

The 25-year-old quarterback has a QBR of 84.3, which is good for second in the NFL. The Chiefs have the best offense in the NFL in nearly all statistical categories.

Kansas City is 6-7 ATS, but it is 12-1 on the season. This team wins football games.

The Chiefs are usually such a heavy favorite, so it can be tough to cover. They have won by four or more points in nine of their 12 victories.
