We’re going to be nearing the halfway point of the MLS regular season shortly. With the season heating up, here are the best bets on the schedule for Saturday, June 18th 2022.

LAFC lead the league in points (29) with a 9-3-2 record. They travel on the road to play the Sounders who have a 6-6-1 record. Seattle started slow, but have won four of their last five matches.

Seattle is 4-2 at home and LAFC are 4-2 in away matches. These are two of the strongest teams in the Western conference and we expect a competitive match with plenty of scoring.

When looking at the recent H2H trends, the over has hit in 7 of the last 9 fixtures. LAFC are the highest scoring team in MLS with 29 goals, while the Sounders rank 13th with 19 goals scored.

New York Red Bulls vs. Toronto FC Pick

Kick-Off: 7:00 PM ET

Toronto FC (4-7-3) are sitting in 12th place in the Eastern conference with just 15 points. They’re winless on the road (0-4-3) this season and are winless against the Red Bulls in the last six H2H matches.

The last time Toronto FC defeated the Red Bulls was in 2019. In the last six H2H matches, the NYRB have won three of them by 2+ goals. In March, the Red Bulls defeated Toronto 4-1.

The Red Bulls are 4th in the Eastern conference with a 6-4-5 record. They’ve been in a slump recently, with only one win in their last six MLS matches. They lost to Charlotte (2-0) last week.

This is the perfect opportunity for the Red Bulls to get back on track at home. They’re only 1-2-4 at home compared to 5-2-1 in away matches. We’re betting on the Red Bulls to cover the Asian handicap.

Philadelphia Union vs. FC Cincinnati Pick

Kick-Off: Philadelphia (-160) / Cincinnati (+500) / Draw (+295)

Philadelphia (6-1-7) have only lost one match this season. They’re 2nd place in the Eastern conference and are undefeated at home (3-0-4). They should be able to handle FC Cincinnati (6-7-1).

The Union have been getting it done on the defensive end. They rank 1st in goals allowed (10). Cincinnati rank 9th in goals scored (21) and will struggle to put it in the back of the net on Saturday.

These two teams have played against each other six times and Cincinnati have never won. Philadelphia are 5-0-1 H2H and we expect them to continue that trend this weekend in front of the home crowd.
