Cobb takes on Miami tonight fresh off an eight-strikeout performance against Cincinnati in his last start. In his last two starts Cobb has 15 Ks and the Marlins are not what anyone would call a powerhouse at the plate.

The Marlins have the ninth-highest whiff rate in the majors. Miami hitters strikeout an average of 8.8 times a game.

In 37.2 innings of work this season Cobb, who is 3-2, has 47 total strikeouts. That’s over 1 K per inning. Cobb has pitched at least five innings in each of his last five starts. He’s gone Over this prop in four of those five starts.

Guardians vs. Orioles Predictions

This is just what Bieber does – strike out batters. He leads the Guardians with 51 Ks so far this season. In five of his last seven starts, Bieber has surpassed this prop.

Tonight, he’ll go up against one of the worst lineups in baseball. Baltimore ranks in the bottom-5 of numerous offensive statistical categories.

One category where they don’t rank in the bottom-5 is strikeouts per game. That’s because they rank in the bottom-6. The Orioles are 24th in strikeouts per game averaging 8.92. Over their last three games, the O’s have averaged 9.00.

Bieber has pitched at least six innings in each of his last six starts. He’ll ring up at least six Ks tonight.

Chad Kuhl – OVER 4.5 Ks (+135)

Braves vs. Rockies Predictions

The price is right on Kuhl tonight. The Rockies right-hander will have his hands full going up against Atlanta at home in the very hitter-friendly Coors Field.

What works to Kuhl’s advantage is Atlanta’s aggressiveness at the plate. Kuhl is by no means a flame- throwing, strikeout-heavy pitcher.

However, what will help him get Over this prop tonight is his opponent. The Braves strike out more than any other team in the majors. Atlanta hitters strikeout an average of 9.71 times per game.

Kuhl has had some issues this season, but his last start was a good one. He went 6.1 innings and struck out seven in a win over Washington. He has also pitched well at Coors Field with wins over Philadelphia and Cincinnati.

Padres vs. Brewers Predictions

Musgrove is 5-0 so far this season with a very good 1.86 ERA. He will face a very good Brewers team tonight, but Milwaukee tends to go all or nothing at the plate.

The Brewers rank second in homers per game (1.32) this season, but they rank 24th in strikeouts per game. Milwaukee averages 8.92 Ks per game and in their last three outings the Brewers have averaged 10.67 strikeouts a game.
