On Sunday, May 25, AEW returns to PPV with their annual Double or Nothing event. The 2025 AEW Double or Nothing PPV is the seventh installment in the franchise and it will emanate from the Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona.

Other than the two covid shows (2020-2021), Double or Nothing had been held in Las Vegas, Nevada, each year. However, this year, WrestleMania 41 was held in Las Vegas, so AEW decided to smartly move their PPV to another market.

This year’s AEW PPV is shaping up to be a banger. As we’re inching closer to the All In Texas event, Double or Nothing will definitely get us one giant step closer to a few of the promotion’s future-changing matches (Storm vs. Mone, Ospreay vs. Moxley).

At Sunday’s PPV, on Memorial Day weekend, the Finals of the Owen Hart Foundation Cup will take place for both the men and women. Additionally, AEW’s Anarchy in the Arena match will be held at this event. So, you know that Double or Nothing will be filled with chaos.

But that’s not all. There are a number of world title matches booked for the PPV, along with a stretcher match, a tag-team grudge match, and so much more.

Let’s take a look at the latest AEW Double or Nothing odds, courtesy of the top sports betting sites, and make our AEW Double or Nothing predictions.

As of this writing, some of the opening AEW Double or Nothing odds have trickled out. Make sure to check back throughout the week for more AEW odds and any significant line movement.

On May 18, when first writing these Double or Nothing betting predictions, only the Owen Hart Foundation Cup matches had odds. The rest of the card had yet to receive opening lines. Since then, by May 23, the majority of the PPV lineup have available odds.

The two Owen Hart Cup matches have seen their odds shift significantly towards the favorites as both Mercedes Money and Will Ospreay had their lines nearly double.

As expected, Toni Storm is a massive favorite. In fact, she’s the biggest favorite of the PPV. However, I do expect Okada to have comparable odds once the lines are released for the Continental Championship match.

Anarchy in the Arena is one of the only matches, that’s been booked for more than a week, that has yet to receive odds as of this update. It’s partly due to the confusion of who’s actually competing in this match.

Lastly, there were three bouts added to the match card after Collision. Including the Continental Championship match, a trios bout and a women’s tag-team match were also added. None of these bouts have odds as of this update.

With that said, keep reading below to see our match-by-match AEW Double or Nothing predictions and how they compare to some of the best handicappers around.

AEW Double or Nothing Predictions

The following AEW predictions are for the confirmed and rumored Dynasty matches:

Women’s Tag-Team Match

  • Megan Bayne & Penelope Ford (NA)
  • Anna Jay & Harley Cameron (NA)

Following this week’s episode of Collision, AEW confirmed that this women’s tag-team match would be added to the Buy-In portion of the PPV. That means, we get to see this for free and it should be entertaining considering the lengthy feud between these wrestlers.

Megan Bayne is a star and she needed something to keep her busy since narrowly losing to Toni Storm at Dynasty. However, AEW needs to get her back on track to become the beast in waiting.

In my humbled opinion, Bayne should be set up as the woman to hand Mone her first loss later this year. I think Mone beats Storm at All In Texas to become the world champ. Have her then lose the TBS Title to Bayne, but remain world champ. Easy peasy!

As for this match, Bayne’s team will lose as Ford eats the pin. Cameron and Jay can’t keep losing or coming out looking like clowns against Bayne and Ford. They both need a solid win to give them momentum moving forward.

Perhaps, one day soon, AEW will finally debut some women’s tag-team titles as it would certainly help this division more.

Bet: Anna Jay & Harley Cameron (NA)

Continental Championship Match

  • (c)Kazuchika Okada (NA)
  • “Speedball” Mike Bailey (NA)

I will give him credit, “Speedball” Mike Bailey has integrated himself nicely into the AEW roster. He’s had multiple big matches since joining and it’s given him a solid footing in the hierarchy.

With that said, Okada is on a higher level than Bailey. Since winning the Continental Championship, Okada has gone 11-0 in title defenses. I see no reason to think that it won’t bet 12-0 after this weekend.

As I’ve stated a number of times this year already, Okada and Omega will clash at All In Texas in what should be a historic match. Until then, neither man loses their respective titles and we can finally merge both belts to reduce the number of AEW titles.

Bet: Kazuchika Okada (NA)

Trios Match

  • Paragon (NA)
  • Don Callis Family (NA)

Out of the three late additions to the PPV, this one is the most intriguing. It features six highly talented wrestlers that should put on a banger of a match.

For The Don Callis Family, we will see the trio of Konosuke Takeshita, Kyle Fletcher, and Josh Alexander. For Paragon, the group contains Adam Cole, Kyle O’Reilly, and Roderick Strong.

Cole is the current TNT champ and I would expect this match and storyline to spawn a challenger for his title.

Since shifting to a trio, and ditching their Undisputed gimmick, Paragon has lacked a real feud and storyline. They seem to be floating around and relegated to Collision.

Of the two teams, Paragon needs this win more than The Callis Family and it’s not even close. Cole, Strong and O’Reilly are three highly talented wrestlers that have been toiling in low to midlevel obscurity for most of this year.

A big win at Double or Nothing could put them on track to move up the proverbial ladder and get back to some significant storylines. Would love to see this group win the trios titles at some point.

Furthermore, I would love to see Kyle Fletcher win the TNT title. He’s a future world champ that needs gold around his waist right now. What better way to do that than by giving him the TNT belt this summer?

Bet: Paragon (NA)

Owen Hart Cup Men’s Final

  • Will Ospreay (-1000)
  • Hangman Adam Page (+500)

The men’s and women’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament, also called the Owen Hart Cup, were first held in 2022. That year, Adam Cole and Dr. Britt Baker won their respective tournaments. In 2023, Ricky Starks defeated CM Punk to win the Cup.

However, it wasn’t until 2024, that the winners of the OH Cup would also earn a world title shot. Last year, Daniel Bryan defeated Hangman Adam Page to win the Cup and go on to All In London where he beat Swerve Strickland for the world title.

This year, Page has returned to the finals after securing multiple victories over top-notch opponents.

In the opening round, Page defeated a debuting Josh Alexander in a strong showing from both men. He followed that up with a surprising win over Kyle Fletcher to earn a spot in the Finals.

On the other side of the bracket, Ospreay disposed of Kevin Knight in the opening round and then beat Konosuke Takeshita to earn a spot in the Finals.

Since winning their Semifinal matches, both men have had multiple run-ins with each other. This also included a tag-team match where they took on Takeshita and Alexander at the May 14 episode of Dynamite.

You have to give credit to AEW for how interesting they have made the Page vs. Ospreay storyline. Sure, the Cup is the backdrop for this match but it’s the routes that both men have taken to get another world title shot that is at the heart of this.

Page went insane after losing the belt over a year ago and has torn through AEW before finding his smile again. Ospreay has consistently ascended up the proverbial ladder to get one step closer to winning the world title. Something that has alluded him so far.

If I may take a moment to toot my own horn, I did pick this exact Finals matchup back at the AEW Dynasty PPV:

“As soon as Opreay entered the Owen Hart Cup, I picked him to win the tournament. There’s nothing with the bracket unveiling that makes me change my mind.

I see Ospreay battling Takeshita in the Semifinals and winning. On the other side, Fletcher and Hangman Adam Page will both win their opening matches. I also see Page getting past Fletcher to earn a Finals match against Ospreay. I don’t see AEW going with Opsreay vs. Fletcher 4.

In the end, Opsreay will win the tournament and head to All-In to fight for the world title.”

I have been saying for a while now, that Ospreay will be the man to dethrone Moxley and take AEW to new heights. And, I am doubling down on that prediction by taking Ospreay to defeat Page in what should be a match of the night contender.

As for the odds, Ospreay opened at -375. However, as the week has gone on, The Aerial Assassin has seen his odds jump to a massive -1000 betting line. This shift further cements that most pundits and sportsbooks believe he will win. Page’s odds went from +225 to +500.

Bet: Will Ospreay (-1000)

Owen Hart Cup Women’s Final

  • Mercedes Mone (-300)
  • Jamie Hayter (+200)

As mentioned above, Baker won the first ever women’s Owen Hart Cup. The next year saw Willow Nightingale ascend to the upper echelon of the women’s division by winning the Cup. She followed that up with a Finals loss to Mariah May in 2024.

May would go on to defeat Toni Storm at All In London and reign until she dropped the belt back to Storm at AEW Grand Slam Australia in February.

We have not seen May for the last few months as she’s rumored to be heading to the WWE. Personally, I think that is a huge mistake. May is a star in AEW. With WWE, she will be nothing more than another blonde in a sea of talented blondes.

Mercedes Mone entered the 2025 Owen Hart Cup as the favorite. And, like with Ospreay, I picked her to win the Cup as soon as I heard she was in it. I was also pumped to see Mone vs. Athena, which turned out to be one of the best women’s matches of the year so far.

Mone went on to beat Julia Hart at Dynast and Athena on the April 23 episode of Dynamite. Jamie Hayter beat Billi Starkz in the opening round and Kris Statlander in the Semifinals.

This Hayter vs. Mone matchup, was another accurate prediction that I made in my Dynasty breakdown:

“Lastly, I see Jamie Hayter going to the Finals from the other side of the bracket. Once there, Mone will win and go on to All-In where she faces Toni Storm in quite possibly the best women’s match of the year.”

Not only do I think a Mone vs. Storm match could be the best women’s match of the year, I also think it could be one of AEW’s best matches of the year. That’s the type of talent that will be in the ring once these two stars meet in Texas.

As for the Cup Finals match, take Mone to beat Hayter. Unfortunately, if you didn’t get a bet on Mone’s line when we first released our Double or Nothing predictions, then you missed some value.

Mone’s line has shifted from -175 to -300. I expect this number to continue to rise up until Sunday’s PPV. Hayter went from +120 to +200 and I expect her line to increase as well.

Bet: Mercedes Mone (-300)

AEW Stretcher Match

  • Ricochet (-1000)
  • Mark Briscoe (+500)

This match was made after Ricochet harassed Zach Gowen and took his prosthetic leg. Then, he beat up Gowen in a match. Afterwards, Ricochet kept attacking Gowen until Briscoe made the save.

An enraged Briscoe would eventually challenge Ricochet to a stretcher match at the PPV. After the May 17 Collision episode, Ricochet accepted.

Ricochet has been one of AEW’s best wrestlers in 2025, and I don’t just mean between the ropes. AEW has allowed Ricochet to do something that the WWE never did, let his heel personality shine.

Since then, Ricochet is the man that fans love to boo and hate. And, it’s a different type of hate than what they have for Don Callis.

Picking up a win over Briscoe at the PPV will continue to keep Ricochet at a higher position in the company. It will also give him one more thing to brag about.

The betting lines confirmed my believe that Ricochet would be the favorite and should win the match. At -1000 odds, there’s no room for interpretation here. Ricochet is a large favorite to win the match, and rightfully so.

Bet: Ricochet (NA)

FTR vs. Garcia & McGuiness

  • FTR (-800)
  • Danny Garcia & Nigel McGuiness (+425)

Heading into their Trios World Title Match at Dynasty alongside Adam Copeland, FTR was already showing signs of turning heel. So, as any longtime fan of wrestling would assume, I predicted they would turn heel at Dynasty and do so at the expense of Copeland:

“I think it’s time to turn FTR heel and at the expense of Copeland. They both can get upset at Copeland for not winning the trios titles and commence in beating him down either during or after the match.

Following the April 5 episode of Collision, FTR apparently made up and things are supposed to be good for Rated FTR heading into the PPV. But don’t be fooled.”

That’s exactly what took place. And, since then, we’ve seen a far more entertaining FTR tag-team. Now, I’m not thrilled to see Stokely Hathaway teaming up with them as he does nothing for me or this angle.

Speaking of this angle, after FTR turned on Copeland and began attacking others, they eventually landed on Danny Garcia. The latter used to team up with FTR and they still wanted him alongside them. Well, Garcia didn’t like their change of attitude and ended up fighting FTR instead of joining them.

Additionally, FTR began harassing Tony Schiavone which led to Nigel McGuiness sticking up for his television commentary partner. In the end, it put Garcia and McGuiness on the same side of this fight and they would end up agreeing to team against FTR at the PPV.

This is only McGuiness’ fourth match since 2011. His return to the ring was a remarkable one after it was believed that he could never wrestler again due to health issues.

I’m torn over the outcome of this match. I would love to see Nigel get the win. Yet, I’m a fan of continuing FTR’s heel run and for AEW to do so at the expense of McGuiness’ return to the ring.

I also think it’s time for Daddy Magic to turn heel. It’s getting old and stale seeing him continue to help Garcia without really winning any matches. Turn him heel, feud him with Garcia or McGuiness, and move FTR along to something bigger.

It took the majority of the week before odds came out on this match. Not surprisingly, FTR is the favorite and should win.

Bet: FTR (-800)

AEW Tag-Team Title Match

  • (c)The Hurt Syndicate (-1000)
  • The Sons of Texas (+500)

I think AEW is dropping the ball by not making this match for all of the tag-team gold. Currently, it’s being reported that this match will only be for the AEW Tag-Team Titles around the waists of The Hurt Syndicate. Yet, if the ROH tag titles were on the line as well, it would add even more value to this match.

Make no mistake about it, The Hurt Syndicate is winning this bout. Which is one more reason why I want the ROH belts on the line. Give this faction all of the gold especially with MJF joining the group.

I’m all for a dominant faction and this one will have more legs than The Death Riders in regards to storylines and fan investment.

I would imagine that MJF interferes or helps The Hurt Syndicate win this match even if they don’t need him to. Making him a little weasel with the dangerous duo of Lashley and Benjamin protecting him, is going to make for entertaining television over the next few months.

When does a line of -1000 odds seem like betting value?

Well, this match is a great example. There’s zero chance that The Hurt Syndicate with their new member MJF lose this match. These odds should be at least -3000.

Bet: The Hurt Syndicate (-1000)

AEW Women’s World Title Match

  • (c)Toni Storm (NA)
  • Mina Shirakawa (NA)

Mina Shirakawa is apparently only wrestling for AEW at this point in time. And, it didn’t take any time before she got a world title shot against “Timeless” Toni Storm. Yes, that was all intentional.

Moving along, this match came about due to Shirakawa winning a title eliminator on the May 14 episode of Double or Nothing. Storm has been competing in title eliminators over the last few weeks as she wants to stay busy until the Owen Hart Cup winner has been determined.

Well, it backfired for Storm, as she lost her first title eliminator match in AEW after getting rolled up by Shirakawa. Right after the bout, it was announced that the two would wrestle at Double or Nothing for the title.

If you recall, Shirakawa was involved in the feud between May and Storm last year. Yes, that is still one of AEW’s best storylines ever.

With that said, we’ll see the same results as last year as Shirakawa loses and Storm moves on to a bigger feud – Mercedes Mone.

It took the better part of the week before lines became available for this match. But, as I expected, Storm is a massive favorite. As of this update, she is the biggest favorite on the card. There’s zero chance that she drops the title.

Bet: Toni Storm (-3000)

Anarchy in the Arena

  • Team Swerve (NA)
  • Team Elite & Death Riders (NA)

At the end of the May 14 episode of Dynamite, we saw a massive amount of carnage in the ring following Moxley’s successful win over Samoa Joe inside the steel cage. And, yes, it was due to outside interference.

This time, that interference came from Gabe Kidd, which was a really cool surprise. Eventually, The Death Riders, Kidd and The Young Bucks would all attack Joe, Will Hobbs, and Willow Nightingale. This brought out Kenny Omega.

Unfortunately, Okada blindsided Omega and he was added to the group beat down. The steel cage was then dropped back down as the heels stomped a mudhole in Omega, Hobbs and Joe.

That led to Swerve Strickland coming out, climbing the cage, and jumping from the top onto the group of heels. The cage came back up quickly, and the heels scattered. Yet, Strickland grabbed the mic and declared an Anarchy in the Arena match for Double or Nothing.

Now, there’s still some mystery as to who will be on both sides. The latest rumors indicate that we could see a mixed-tag match with Willow Nightingale on one side and Marina Shafir on the other side.

On the May 21 episode of Dynamite, we got more of the same chaotic fights between these two teams. In fact, we got two brawls throughout the show. The Death Riders and Young Bucks stood tall at the end of Dynamite, which typically gives you an indication that they will lose at the PPV.

Shibata returned at this week’s Dynamite to join his teammates (The Opps). So, this match looks to be six on six as Nightingale teams with Strickland, Joe, Hobbs, Shibata and Omega. Joining Shafir is The Death Riders and The Young Bucks.

With that in mind, I’m taking Team Swerve to win. It sets things up nicely for a number of feuds before we get to All In Texas in July. It also gives Team Swerve momentum moving forward and number Moxley’s days as champ.

Bet: Team Swerve (NA)

AEW Double or Nothing Results

The following is a quick recap of the last two AEW Double or Nothing results:

The most notable moments from the 2024 Double or Nothing results saw Adam Copeland break his lower leg when jumping off the top of the steel cage. Although he was able to win the match, it kept Cope out until December 2024.

Ospreay’s win over Strong led to his first championship in AEW. It was also a great in-ring bout between two talented wrestlers. It was also widely considered to be the best match of the night by critics and fans alike.

Mercedes Mone picked up her first AEW belt by defeating Willow Nightingale for the TBS Championship. It was one of the best matches on the PPV, just behind Ospreay vs. Strong and tied with the Anarchy in the Arena bout.

We also can’t forget how MJF made his grand return after several months away from AEW due to injuries and storyline losses.

The Anarchy in the Arena match saw The Elite defeat Team AEW which consisted of Bryan Danielson, FTR and Darby Allin. This was the match where Allin brought out a flamethrower and set Perry on fire. Ultimately, Perry would hit the running knee on Danielson for the win.

2023 Double or Nothing

The 2023 Double or Nothing PPV took place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, and featured 11 matches:

AEW’s Double or Nothing results for the 2023 edition, saw some standout moments along with forgettable matches. And, as you can see in the comparisons between 2023 and 2024, along with 2023 compared to 2025, that year’s Double or Nothing PPV lacked star power and quality storylines. AEW has come a long way since then.

One of the more notable moments from the show was Jade Cargill winning her first match versus Valkyrie then losing a second match against Statlander. That was the first loss of Cargill’s career and it ended her 508-day reign as the TBS Champion.

We also saw the four-pillars of AEW match between MJF, Sammy Guevara, Darby Allin and Jack Perry. This was a fantastic bout that featured all four men and a victory by Maxwell Jacob Friedman. Since then, MJF and Allin have remained as true pillars, while Perry and Guevara have faded.

The main event bout saw two of pro wrestling’s top factions face off in a brutal bout – Anarchy in the Arena. It earned five stars due to the bout that these teams put on. It also featured plenty of the promotion’s top stars.

The BCC consisted of Danielson, Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta. The Elite consisted of Omega, The Young Bucks and Adama Page.

This is the moment where Takeshita turned heel and helped BCC win the match by attacking Omega. A few weeks prior, Don Callis turned on Omega as well. Since then, Callis has been one of the most hated personalities and The Callis Family has been a solid group of heels.
