The 2022-23 NBA season is just starting to get going, but there is a large slate of games set to take place on Sunday. There have already been some surprises to begin the year, but some of the top players are also living up to the hype.
One of the best ways to bet on the NBA is to look at player props and you will have plenty of options on Sunday. Here are the five best NBA player prop bets to make.
Kyle Kuzma: Over 16.5 Points (-125)
Wizards vs. Cavaliers Prediction
Kyle Kuzma and the Washington Wizards will be in Cleveland on Sunday to take on the Cavaliers. Both of these teams are much improved from last year and Kuzma has been having a big year for the Wizards.
Cleveland is a team with a ton of size and that will force the Wizards to do some shooting from outside. Kuzma is scoring over 24 points per game this season and he goes over 16.5 on Sunday.
Zion Williamson Under 24.5 Points (-120)
There is still so much hype surrounding Zion Williamson that you would think he is the greatest player in NBA history. Williamson has had some monster games to begin his NBA career, but he is also a player that has to do a ton of scoring around the rim.
Williamson has helped get the Pelicans out to a fast start, but he’s not going to be the main scorer on Sunday night. Take the under 24.5 points for Williamson, as the Utah Jazz make it hard on him in the paint.
Karl-Anthony Towns to Record Double Double: (+142)
Timberwolves vs. Thunder Predictions
Karl-Anthony Towns no longer has to do it all for the Timberwolves, as Minnesota has surrounded him with a ton of talent. Towns is still one of the best big men in the game and is capable of recording a double-double on any given night.
Minnesota will be in Oklahoma City on Sunday and the Timberwolves will be able to dominate inside. Bet on Towns to have a double-double on Sunday with some great odds.
De’Aaron Fox: Over 24.5 Points (-110)
Kings vs. Warriors Predictions
The Sacramento Kings are taking on the Golden State Warriors and this should be a high-scoring affair. Sacramento wants to score and De’Aaron Fox has been leading the way this season.
Fox is pouring in over 34 points per game so far in 2022 and he will need to have a big night to keep up with the Warriors. Take the over 24.5 points as Fox and the Kings will score right along with the Warriors.
Chris Paul: Under 23.5 Points/Assists (-115)
Chris Paul enters play on Sunday averaging 10.5 assists per game, but he is going to have a tough night on Sunday. The Suns will be in LA to deal with the Clippers and this has also been a team that has held Paul down a bit.
Phoenix has a ton of scoring options and Paul won’t be the focal point of that offense. Take the under 23.5 points/assists for Paul as he struggles in this game.
