The Fire closed out June with a 3-2 win over Charlotte FC at home—just their second victory in front of their fans all season—but head coach Gregg Berhalter is keeping things in perspective.

“When I looked at our home losses, they came against the top three teams in the Eastern Conference,” Berhalter said. “We weren’t ready to beat the top teams yet. It doesn’t mean we’re not making progress.”
