Vancouver Whitecaps Outlook
The Whitecaps return from a two-week break fresh off a 3-0 win over Sporting Kansas City that extended their unbeaten run to five league matches. Goalkeeper Yohei Takaoka added to his league-leading tally with his 11th clean sheet of the season.
Off the field, Vancouver made a massive splash by signing German legend Thomas Muller, though his debut is expected on August 17 against Houston.
