It’s NBA Friday, and that means it’s time for some player props!
Fred VanVleet Under 19.5 Points
The Toronto Raptors will battle the Charlotte Hornets on Friday night. The Hornets are a pesky team at home, and Fred VanVleet should play a big role. However, he is coming off a knee injury, and he is questionable for the game.
All rumors are indicating VanVleet is going to play, but I do not trust his effectiveness. He is averaging 21.6 PPG this season and 20 PPG vs Charlotte. Considering this game is on the road, and he is hurt, I have to fade VanVleet.
If anyone is going to take a step up tonight for Toronto, it will be OG Anunoby. This makes me lean towards the under on VanVleet’s total.
Jalen Green Over 14.5 Points
Jalen Green’s hit rate has been really good on his listed total for Friday night. In his past four games, he has reached this number three times. Green is coming off a 21 point performance against the Clippers.
He should have a much easier time scoring against an Orlando Magic team not known for defense. In his last ten, Green is averaging 15.9 PPG. I think he takes the lead for the Rockets in the scoring department.

Devin Booker Under 28.5 Points
There are a variety of reasons to take the under on Devin Booker’s point total on Friday. The Suns are coming off a game against Oklahoma City. Phoenix dominated the Thunder, and Booker played 38 minutes.
He scored 25 points and had 12 assists. I expect a similar result for Booker tonight. He should spread the ball around and feed his teammates.
Phoenix will face the Pelicans at home tonight. This should give Booker ample rest time if his team gets up early.
I expect Phoenix to dominate in this game, and it would not be surprising to see Booker get some rest.
Kyle Lowry Over 12.5 Points
Kyle Lowry has hit his point total for four straight games. He is coming off a 25 point performance against the Hornets. This is an outlier, but it shows Lowry has the ability to go off at any time.
Lowry is averaging a point over his Friday night total this season. I see him reaching this again.
The Knicks blow up and give opponents a lot of great scoring opportunities. Lowry is also going to get close to 40 minutes in this game.
The total is still low enough for me to believe he is going to go over.
Keldon Johnson Over 15.5 Points
Keldon Johnson has been a stud for the San Antonio Spurs this season. He is a player the team can build around for the future.
Johnson thrives in scoring and rebounding. He is more of a boom or bust rebounder.
However, his scoring has been consistent throughout the year. In his last ten games, he is averaging 19 PPG. The Spurs will face the Wizards, and their defense should give him some open looks from deep.
If Johnson can hit a few threes and get looks inside, he will go over.
