Manchester City

Liverpool is very consistent on the season last year. The Liverpool club did have some hiccups last year and that could definitely creep back into the way the Liverpool club is able to play this year.

Now, one aspect that could definitely change the outlook for Liverpool is the potential addition of Mbappe who is going through some very difficult contract talks with PSG. If the contract talks fall through with PSG, Liverpool has been rumored to be one of the top landing spots for Mbappe.

Manchester United

The Manchester United club is heading to the field this year with the potential to improve quite a bit. The Manchester United club has been showing quite a bit of interest in Eduardo Camavinga.

However, at 18 it will be very difficult to figure out what kind of impact he could have if the Manchester United club is able to sign the youngster. Now, a potentially good problem for the Manchester United club is the fact that they have a possible fight for the starting goalie position as David De Gea is slated to return this year.

The defense for the Reds has been solid in the years past and that will only help to keep Liverpool relevant, but also within striking distance to the top team if the Liverpool club is behind in the standings.

Overall, though, even if Mbappe does not come to the Liverpool club the team is solid and has a great coach that is able to properly direct the Liverpool club.
