The Pittsburgh Panthers are next on the list at +600, and they are actually the defending ACC champion. Pittsburgh used a monster season from quarterback Kenny Pickett to win the title, but there are still plenty of pieces left.

Pittsburgh is the clear favorite in the Coastal Division, especially if transfer Kedon Slovis takes over at QB. The Panthers should be a dominant defense, and the entire offensive line is back in 2022.

When looking for a sleeper team to win the ACC, it’s best to stick to one pick from each of the two divisions. Clemson and Pittsburgh are the clear favorites, but surprises always happen in the ACC.

The N.C. State Wolf Pack are going to be a team to watch out for in the Atlantic Division, and they could easily challenge Clemson for the top. N.C. State allowed just 19.4 points per game a season ago, and quarterback Devin Leary is one of the best players in the league.

There really is only one sleeper team to look out for in the Coastal Division and that is the Miami Hurricanes. Mario Cristobal is now in Miami to lead the Hurricanes, and he has plenty of weapons at his disposal.

The Clemson Tigers just weren’t the same in 2021, but it’s hard being that good every single year. You shouldn’t expect to see Clemson down for long though, and they will be right back on top of the ACC in 2022.

This conference was loaded with some great teams in 2021, but it just doesn’t look to be the same this season. Clemson will have little trouble much of the year as they once again claim the top spot in the conference.
