Three great NBA playoff games are on the docket this Wednesday. Let’s take a look at some player props!
Kevin Durant Props: Over 29.5 Points
Kevin Durant rarely looks human out there. When he gets to his spot in the mid-range or blows by his defender, chances are it’s going to be automatic.
However, in the Brooklyn Nets’ Game 1 loss to the Boston Celtics, he was all but automatic, as he shot just 9-of-24 from the field while scoring 24 points. The Celtics just executed the perfect defensive game plan for him, which is extremely hard to do.
KD is as smart of a basketball player as they come, so expect him to make the necessary adjustments for him to have a bounceback game, especially with the Nets looking to tie up the series.
Joel Embiid Props: Over 32.5 Points
Joel Embiid is too dominant of a scorer, especially in the low post. He finished with 31 points his last time out but did it on an extremely efficient 9-of-16 shooting from the field.
The Toronto Raptors don’t have the size to match up with the big fella, and with the Philadelphia 76ers having to come in and deal with a loud, passionate fanbase in Toronto, more will be expected of Embiid if they hope to take a commanding 3-0 series lead.
Expect Embiid to put up the over in this one.

Giannis Antetokounmpo Props: Over 32.5 Points
Giannis Antetokounmpo had just 27 points, which is somewhat low for his standards. However, the Milwaukee Bucks as a whole didn’t have the same energy they usually have, but sometimes that happens in Game 1 situations.
Antetokounmpo is just too deadly on drives to the rim, especially when he sees an open lane and drives downhill with a head full of steam. If you leave him open, he can also knock down the three now.
Expect Antetokounmpo to put on a show in front of his home crowd and hit the over in this one.
Kyrie Irving Props: Over 28.5 Points
Kyrie Irving redirected a lot of the negative energy headed his way from the Boston crowd in Game 1, as he channeled that energy to put in 39 points.
Irving is as creative of a scorer as they come, with his ability to create his own shot from anywhere and finish at the rim with a historic layup package.
Expect Irving to want to stick it to the Boston crowd yet again and put up another high-scoring performance in hopes of helping his Nets even up the series at 1-1.
DeMar DeRozan Props: Under 27.5 Points
DeMar DeRozan was a great story in the regular season, as he consistently put up high-scoring numbers with great efficiency.
However, he had just 18 points in Game 1, and in the playoffs, defenses tighten up and can take away your mid-range game if you don’t make the proper adjustments.
DeRozan could come somewhat close, but don’t expect him to hit the over in this one.
