We’re back with our NFL Week 2 predictions. There are some great matchups this week and I expect a lot of surprises like in Week 1. I’ll be releasing my top six plays covering point spreads and game totals.
NFL Week 2 action got underway last night, with the Eagles defeating the Vikings (34-28) at home.
In Week 1, I ended up going 2-1 on my point spread picks, but 1-2 on game total picks. All in all, I went 3-3 to start the NFL season and I’ll look to turn a profit with my NFL Week 2 predictions.

Let’s dig into my top three NFL Week 2 predictions for the point spread betting market:
Best Bet: Los Angeles Chargers -2.5 (-110)
The Chargers (0-1 / 0-1 ATS) are on the road against the Titans (0-1 / 1-0 ATS). This spread seems too low. Ryan Tannehill threw three INTs in Week 1 and if that happens again, this will be a blowout. There’s no way the Titans will be able to keep up with the Chargers on the scoreboard in Week 2.
Best Bet: Seattle Seahawks +5 (-110)
This spread feels like an overreaction based on Week 1 results. The Lions (1-0 / 1-0 ATS) defeated KC to open the season, while the Seahawks (0-1 / 0-1 ATS) were crushed by the Rams. Geno Smith only had 112 passing yards in Week 1. With his weapons (DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett), he’ll keep this one close.
Best Bet: Cincinnati Bengals -3 (-115)
The Bengals (0-1 / 0-1 ATS) aren’t as bad as they played in Week 1. Joe Burrow and the Bengals offense were unable to score a single touchdown against the Browns. The Ravens (1-0 / 1-0 ATS) defeated the Texans in Week 1, but they weren’t that impressive. Cincy are 4-1 (3-1-1 ATS) in the last five H2H games.

NFL Week 2 Predictions – Game Totals
Here are my top three NFL Week 2 predictions covering the over/under betting market:
Best Bet: Chiefs vs. Jaguars Over 51 Points (-110)
The Jaguars (1-0 / 1-0 ATS) scored 31 points in a Week 1 victory. The Chiefs (0-1 / 0-1 ATS) lost in Week 1 and only scored 20 points. Patrick Mahomes was held to 226 yards, 2 TDs and 1 INT. However, that was without his top weapon (Travis Kelce). Kelce is expected to play on Sunday. This game will sail over.
Best Bet: 49ers vs. Rams Under 45.5 Points (-115)
The 49ers (1-0 / 1-0 ATS) dominated the Steelers in Week, winning 30-7. The 49ers defense is going to be stout all season. The Rams (1-0 / 1-0 ATS) scored 30 points in Week 1 against Seattle, but they’re going to struggle to move the football. Six of the last seven H2H games have had 45 points or less.
Best Bet: Dolphins vs. Patriots Under 46.5 Points (-110)
The Dolphins (1-0 / 1-0 ATS) upset LAC on the road in a shootout in Week 1, while the Patriots (0-1 / 0-1 ATS) lost to Philly, but held them to 25 points. Miami will have a tough time on the road in NE. Five of the last six H2H games have had 46 points or less. Expect a low-scoring game between these rivals.
