The undefeated Philadelphia Eagles (8-0) host the Washington Commanders (4-5) on Monday Night Football to conclude NFL week 10 action. The Eagles are double-digit favorites currently.
These two teams played in week 3 and the Eagles won 24-8. QB Carson Wentz was starting for the Commanders then, though. They’ve since gone to Taylor Heinicke at the QB position.
Read our Commanders vs. Eagles preview to find out who we’re picking to cover against the spread.
Here are my top five NFL player props for the Commanders vs. Eagles MNF match-up.
Taylor Heinicke Over 15.5 Rushing Yards (-115)
Heinicke isn’t known as a dual-threat QB, but he’ll still run the football several times a game. Last week, he rushed for 17 yards on four carries and the week prior he had six carries for 29 yards.
The Eagles average 3.3 sacks per game (3rd), so Heinicke is going to have to escape the pocket a lot in this game. He only needs to have a lane on one or two plays to pick up 16+ rushing yards.
Philly are allowing 121.4 RYPG (21st), so they haven’t been great in the trenches on defense.
A.J. Brown Under 5.5 Receptions (-165)
Brown has been boom or bust all season, but one thing that has remained relatively consistent is the fact that he isn’t going to haul in a lot of receptions. He has had 6+ receptions only twice this season.
Opponents are only completing 19.2 passes per game on average against Washington (7th). Brown is a big play threat and can still put up big numbers in this game, but he won’t catch more than 5 passes.
Terry McLaurin Over 4.5 Receptions (+125)
McLaurin hasn’t been having a great season, but things have improved since Heinicke took over. In the three games Heinicke has started, McLaurin has had 5+ receptions per game on 8+ targets.
The Eagles are likely going to be leading this game most of the way, so the Commanders will be forced into passing the football more often. We’re also getting a great price on this player prop.
Jalen Hurts Longest Rush Over 12.5 Yards (-120)
In the first H2H game this season, Hurts was held to 20 rushing yards on 9 carries. His longest run was five yards. However, Hurts has had a 13+ yard rush in five of eight games this season.
Hurts has had 9+ carries in seven of eight games this season. The Commanders are allowing 113.2 RYPG (10th) this season and I expect Hurts to have more success on the ground this time around.
Jake Elliott Under 1.5 Field Goals (+105)
I’m surprised we’re getting plus money on this player prop. Elliott is 6/8 on field goals this season and he has only made two field goals in a game once. He has attempted two field goals only twice.
The Eagles simply haven’t been kicking a lot of field goals. In week 9, Elliott went 0/1 on FG attempts and in week 8 he didn’t even attempt a field goal. There’s a good chance he doesn’t kick two FGs on MNF.
