We are over a quarter of the way through baseball season. This is sad but exciting at the same time because we know the quality of all 30 MLB teams. That makes it easier to place winning parlays. Here is my four-team parlay for Wednesday to win big on Major League Baseball.
Milwaukee Brewers over the Kansas City Royals
The Brewers have struggled because of their lack of offense. However, when Corbin Burnes is on the mound, they are a quality team. Burnes has been fantastic all season and one of the biggest surprises in baseball.
He has collected 58 strikeouts in 34.1 innings of work while posting a 1.57 ERA. With Burnes on the bump, Milwaukee has an added sense of confidence.
I would not pick the Brewers on most days, depending on their opponent. However, with Burnes on the mound against the Kansas City Royals, it’s hard to resist this matchup. Kansas City has won two of their past 15 entering the Brewers series.
The Royals will also throw Brad Keller on Wednesday. Keller has not been able to locate in 2021. He has a 6.75 ERA with a 3-4 record.
St. Louis Cardinals over the Pittsburgh Pirates
The Cardinals have been somewhat inconsistent, but not when Jack Flaherty is on the bump. He is the only pitcher in baseball this season with a 7-0 record. Flaherty is a legit ace in the big league, and he has proven it throughout 2021.
Flaherty has compiled a 2.47 ERA with 48 strikeouts in 47.1 innings of work. St. Louis’ offense is also surging now, thanks to Nolan Arenado. This is a winning combination against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Pittsburgh is 17-23 on the season. Trevor Cahill will pitch on Wednesday. He is 1-4 with a 5.97 ERA. This is a great leg to include in your Wednesday parlay.
Washington Nationals over the Chicago Cubs
There is one thing that you must know about Wednesday’s Nationals vs. Cubs matchup. Max Scherzer will be on the hill for Washington. There has not been a better pitcher in baseball over the past five seasons than Scherzer.
The pitcher is 3-2 with a 2.10 ERA in 2021. He has fanned 68 batters in 51.1 innings of work. This will be a great leg because the Nationals should be road underdogs.
If you roll the dice on Scherzer and Washington, it will be very beneficial for your postgame payout.
San Diego Padres over the Colorado Rockies
The Padres have been one of the hottest teams in baseball as of late. They have been having success without their star players like Fernando Tatis Jr. and Eric Hosmer. Both players were placed on the COVID-19 injured list.
Tatis Jr. tested positive, which means he will be out of the lineup on Wednesday. Although, Hosmer, one of the team’s best hitters, will be back in action.
Joe Musgrove, who has a no-hitter in 2021, will pitch against the Rockies. He has 59 strikeouts in 44 innings with a 2.86 ERA. Manny Machado has been on fire at the plate. With Hosmer back, the Padres should dominate the Rockies, who are in last place in the NL West.
