The NHL season is off to a legendary start. Between the Oilers upset and the stellar performances from the Stars and the Jets, the Western Conference is lighting up.
But our handicappers are also on a hot streak after last week. Our top 7 NHl handicappers went 39-8 last week, for a combined win percentage of 82.9%. They won thousands of dollars, and are ramping up for an even better rating next week.
Here’s the low-down on what happened on ScoresandStats:
Mario Deluca is Lighting the Lamp This Week
Mario Deluca rounded out his week 6-1 after hitting the under on the Lightning vs Canucks game. He’s won a total of $578 during the last week of NHL hockey, and the only wager he lost was the over 6.5 on the Flames vs Oilers game on Sunday.
Deluca’s got a healthy balance of wagers on the board, but he’s won the most totals. He’s 2-1 with overs and 1-0 with unders. I’d keep an eye out for his over bets next week.
Both of his moneyline wins this week were underdog wagers, so don’t sleep on Deluca’s dog picks for next week either.
Top NHL Handicappers Last Week
Last week was a great week for our NHL handicappers. Our top 7 cappers never dropped below a 73% win rate, and they raked in a total of $3,424! Combined, our top 7 handicappers had a record of 39-8 last week.
Sas Insider had the longest streak last week, winning 9 wagers in a row, rounding it off with a winning under 6.5 on the Kings vs Sabres game last Thursday.
Here’s a better look at our top 5 handicappers and their NHL wager stats from last week:

Oilers Take a Brutal Loss to the Flames
One of the most surprising upsets last week came in the form of a tragic 4-1 loss for the Edmonton Oilers. The Calgary Flames went into that game Sunday as the underdogs, but they laid down a beating in the third quarter.
Going into that game, the Oilers were rated -250 as favorites, with the sportsbooks rating the over at -140.
Out of the five totals picks our handicappers put in, only Skyler Lockheart made the under wager, and only they took a W when the Oilers took an L.
The Flames face off against the Oilers again on November 3rd, so we’ll certainly be keeping a close eye on their performance until then.
Where Our Money’s at This Week
This upcoming week, we see the Flames take on the Seattle Kraken on Saturday the 19th. It’s unlikely that Kraken will unseat the Flames from their 4-0 winning streak, but a boy can hope.
In the Eastern Conference, we’re checking out the New Jersey Devils, who are 4-2 right now, but face the Senators tonight and the Capitals on Saturday.
Our handicappers haven’t gotten their picks in yet, but be sure to watch out for Mario Deluca’s underdog moneylines and Skyler Lockheart’s under wagers.
