The MLB season is heading into its second weekend, and the Friday slate is loaded. We have a three-game series beginning and four-game series continuing on Friday.
There are a lot of games with a ton of value when it comes to betting. The best way to win money is by using a variety of markets to profit.
Here are my best MLB bets for Friday, April 15th 2022.
Money Line: Red Sox ML (-126)
The Boston Red Sox are hosting their first game of the year at Fenway Park. There is nothing like baseball at Fenway Park.
I believe the Red Sox will deliver in their home opener. Nick Pivetta will take the ball for the Red Sox.
Pivetta is 0-1 on the season with a 6.35 ERA, but he had a strong beginning of his first start. The Yankees wore him down, but if he stays strong, they will be just fine. Boston’s bats should come out strong today behind Rafael Devers.
The home opener at Fenway usually boosts Boston to a win. I am riding with the Red Sox.
Run Line: Yankees -1.5 (-125)
The New York Yankees will face the Baltimore Orioles on Friday. New York’s money line value is -210, so it’s not worth taking them straight up. The best way to bet on the Yankees is through the run line.
New York covered the spread in two of their four games over the Blue Jays. The Blue Jays are one of the best teams in baseball, and New York dominated in two games.
The Orioles are one of the worst teams in MLB. They gave the Brewers some trouble, but Baltimore can’t hit the ball.
Additionally, with New York being on the road, they are guaranteed nine at-bats. It’s never ideal to take a team on the run line that is playing at home. This is because they could be up one run after the top of the ninth, and the game ends.

Game Total: Cubs / Rockies Under 10 (-115)
The Cubs and Rockies’ total on Thursday was 11.5 runs. It did not get anywhere near the total.
The Cubs and Rockies do not have potent offenses. The ball flies at Coors Field, but this boosts the total from books.
Additionally, German Marquez and Marcus Stroman are on the mound. Marquez and Stroman are two elite pitchers that should keep the total down. If this game was not at Coors, the total would be 8.
Parlay: White Sox ML / Dodgers ML
Rays vs. White Sox Picks / Reds vs. Dodgers Picks
The Dodgers will face the Reds, and they should roll once again. The team is -260 in the money line in this game.
Tony Gonsolin will take the ball. He is not the best on the team’s staff, but he can pitch.
When Los Angeles is hitting, this team is hard to stop. I will also take the White Sox, who are playing the Rays.
Tampa Bay is cold currently, and I think this will show once again against Chicago. Best of luck with your bets for Friday.
