NBA Moneyline Picks for Saturday, April 9th 2022

The ten teams in each conference that will be moving on to play after the NBA’s regular season ends this weekend are set. There are still some questions left to be answered though.

One of those answers could be delivered tonight in Memphis where the Pelicans will take on the Grizzlies. Golden State can move closer to capturing the No. 3 seed in the West with a win over San Antonio.

That makes for some quality action this weekend for NBA bettors. Here are the top NBA moneyline picks for Saturday, April 9th 2022.

New Orleans Pelicans vs. Memphis Grizzlies

Pelicans vs. Grizzlies Predictions

Pick: PELICANS +210

Motivation goes a long way in these NBA games at the end of the season. Memphis has locked up the No. 2 seed in the Western Conference playoffs. Memphis has nothing really to play for tonight.

The Grizzlies do have star and leading scorer Ja Morant listed as questionable. Morant has been out for two weeks with a knee problem. Memphis really doesn’t gain anything if he plays. If Morant were to play, his minutes will most surely be monitored.

NBA Moneyline Odds

On the other side, New Orleans can clinch home court in the play-in tournament with a win tonight. New Orleans has been playing extremely well over the latter part of this season. The trade that acquired C.J. McCollum has really helped the Pelicans offense.

McCollum and Brandon Ingram give New Orleans two legitimate scoring threats and those two have helped the Pelicans win five of their last six games. They are also 8-3 ATS in their past 11 and 7-2 ATS in the last nine against Memphis.

New Orleans can keep this game close and, with much more to play for, the Pelicans get the upset.

Golden State Warriors vs. San Antonio Spurs

Warriors vs. Spurs Predictions

Pick: SPURS +215

In thinking about motivation again, the Warriors would really like to capture that No. 3 seed in the West. Dallas is just a half-game back and both the Warriors and Mavericks play tomorrow, the final day of the regular season.

San Antonio has locked up at least the No. 10 seed in the play-in tournament. They will face New Orleans next Tuesday. But the Spurs have the opportunity to affect Golden State’s postseason.

NBA Picks

In a weird twist, the Mavs will take on San Antonio tomorrow. The Spurs will play at home tonight and have a chance to ruin Golden State’s chances. The thing is San Antonio has already beaten the Warriors twice this season.

Add in the fact that both Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson are out for Golden State and you have the makings of an upset here. It appears that Dejounte Murray will be out for the Spurs with an illness, but that won’t matter to San Antonio. In the last four games Murray missed, the Spurs are 3-1.
