New York Knicks vs. Atlanta Hawks Picks

Knicks vs. Hawks Betting Report

Best Bet: UNDER 209 Points

The under in the Knicks-Hawks series has hit in all three games in this series.

The reason it’s hit so often is the strength of these defenses and the slow pace of play each offense operates at.

No defense is stronger than the Knicks, equally adept at slowing down an offense from deep or inside. Atlanta has a respectable defensive unit of their own, tenth in the NBA.

While the Hawks have an efficient offense, the Knicks rank as a bottom-ten unit, aiding the disparity between the units that leads to an under.

The pace of play is the cherry on top for betting the unders in this series. Atlanta’s pace ranks 24th, while the Knicks play at the second-slowest pace in the league.

Together, it’s exactly what you look for in an under.

Game 1’s under hit, with a final score of 107-105. Game 2 also hit its under, with the final score equalling just 193 points. Game 3’s total was 199.

NBA Playoffs Predictions

Brooklyn Nets vs. Boston Celtics Picks

Nets vs. Celtics Betting Report

Best Bet: OVER 228.5 Points

With a loaded Brooklyn offense consisting of James Harden, Kevin Durant, and Kyrie Irving, betting the over is usually a safe bet.

Even without Jaylen Brown, Jayson Tatum, Evan Fournier, and Kemba Walker offer enough offensive juice to put up some points of their own.

The reason this over is the pick for Game 4 between the Nets and Celtics is the advantage each offense has from deep.

Brooklyn ranks fourth in the NBA in three-point offense, matched up on the Celtics 19th-ranked perimeter defense.

Boston’s three-point offense ranks ninth, and the Nets’ three-point defense is 16th.

Both offenses prefer to shoot the three, and if they get hot, like Joe Harris did in Game 2 (seven threes) or Jayson Tatum in Game 3 (50 points), the over is in safe hands.

The over has hit in two straight games. In Game 2, the two teams combined for 138 points. Game 3’s total was 244.

NBA Playoffs Betting Lines

Phoenix Suns vs. Los Angeles Lakers Picks

Suns vs. Lakers Betting Report

Best Bet: UNDER 209.5 Points

Our final total for Sunday is a usual suspect, the Suns, and Lakers. The under is 1-1-1 in this series thus far, but don’t get scared off by the trends in three games.

Both Phoenix and Los Angeles have exceptional defenses. The Lakers’ defense ranks second behind the aforementioned Knicks, while the Suns’ defense ranks sixth.

Just like the Hawks-Knicks series, this under is built on not just two strong defenses but the pace of play.

Both of these Western Conference teams rank in the bottom ten of pace of play, suggesting another low-scoring affair is in store.

The under has only hit once because it is consistently listed so low. Since Game 1, it has pushed and gone over, suggesting stronger value is coming our way for Game 4.
