We start in Louisville, Ky., where the 19th-ranked Hokies travel to face their ACC rival Louisville at the KFC YUM! Center. Tip-off is slated for 6:30 pm ET.
The Cardinals are four-point favorites in this matchup of unbeaten ACC foes. These two teams sit atop the ACC standings in the early part of the season, and this is a pivotal game for both the conference standings and the teams’ NCAA Tournament resumes.
The last time these two played, Louisville ran away from the Hokies 68-52. I do not see it going quite like that this time, but I will take the Cardinals to cover the four-point spread and take this game, 74-69.

Minnesota Golden Gophers at Michigan Wolverines Picks
Next, we head to Ann Arbor, Mich., for a Big Ten battle of top 20 teams. The upset-minded Golden Gophers will head to Crisler Arena to take on the surprisingly unbeaten Michigan Wolverines. Tip-off for this one is set for 8:30 pm ET.
The Wolverines come in as 7.5-point favorites in this matchup. At first glance, that seems a bit heavy, but it starts to feel like a decent pick when you dig a little deeper.
Michigan has played very well at home this year. The Wolverines are coming off a big 19-point beatdown of then-ranked Northwestern at home.
Minnesota, on the other hand, has not played well on the road. Granted, the Golden Gophers have only played two road games all year, but they are 0-2 with an average losing margin of 19.5 points. They lost by 27 at Illinois and 12 at Wisconsin.
Due to Minnesota’s early-season struggles on the road vs. quality opponents, I am taking Michigan to cover this 7.5-point spread and win this one, 78-68, to stay unbeaten on the season.

Arkansas Razorbacks at Tennessee Volunteers Picks
Finally, we head to Knoxville, Tenn., where the No. 9 Volunteers play host to the Arkansas Razorbacks in an SEC showdown. Tip-off is slated for 7 pm ET at Thompson-Boling Arena.
Tennessee comes into this game as a 7.5-point favorite. The Volunteers are coming off a rather disappointing loss at home to Alabama, resulting in them falling from No. 7 to No. 9 in this week’s Top 25 rankings.
Tennessee has an elite defense and should be able to lock down the Razorbacks on that end of the floor. The question is whether the Volunteers can consistently make shots to cover this spread.
The last time these two squared off, in February of last year, Arkansas throttled Tennessee 86-69.
Arkansas doesn’t have a great defense, so the Vols should be able to find buckets. I like Tennessee to get back on track in this one and cover the 7.5-point spread, 70-59.
