The 2022 NCAA Football season continues to heat up and there are a ton of big games on the schedule in week 8. Conference title races are going to be coming down to the wire and that means that every game means just a little bit more.
There are plenty of great ways to bet on college football, but looking at NCAAF player prop picks is right at the top of the list. Here are five of the best player prop picks to make in week 8.
CJ Stroud Anytime TD Scorer (+470)
CJ Stroud of Ohio State might be the frontrunner to win the Heisman Trophy this season and most of his best work comes through the air. Ohio State just continues to put up ridiculous numbers on offense and it should be another big game on Saturday.
Stroud can also run the football, though and you can get great value in betting on the star quarterback to find the endzone. Take Stroud to score a touchdown at some point in this match-up.
Quinn Ewers Over 2.5 Touchdown Passes (+130)
Texas vs. Oklahoma State Picks
The Texas Longhorns have already suffered a pair of losses this season, but none happened in a game in which Quinn Ewers started and finished. Ewers is healthy for the Longhorns and he has this Texas team cruising on offense.
This should be a great match-up for Texas against an Oklahoma State team that gives up some points. Bet on Ewers to throw for at least three touchdowns in this game, with odds set at +130.
Dorian Thompson-Robinson Over 270.5 Passing Yards (-110)
The UCLA Bruins travel to Oregon on Saturday afternoon for a huge match-up in the Pac-12 Conference. UCLA is trying to stay undefeated, but they will have a tough time against Oregon.
Dorian Thompson-Robinson is having a huge season for the Bruins and he will likely be trying to lead the Bruins back from a deficit. The Bruins would rather run to win this game, but taking Thompson-Robinson to have a big performance in this one is our best bet.
Bryce Young Under 310.5 Passing Yards (-115)
Mississippi State vs. Alabama Picks
Alabama quarterback Bryce Young has been doing all that he can to keep his team atop the SEC standings, but he is going to need some help. Young has routinely thrown for over 300 yards in a game this season, but Alabama is going to try to run the ball in this one.
It’s a bit risky betting on Young to throw for less than 310 yards in a game, but that’s what is going to happen. Alabama runs the ball and taking the under 310.5 passing yards is the way to go in this one.
Max Duggan Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+115)
Max Duggan has the TCU Horned Frogs atop the Big 12 Conference race this season and he has been carrying the load on offense. Duggan can not only beat teams with his arm, but he has had some long runs already this season.
The odds for Duggan to find the endzone aren’t as good as what you will see with other quarterbacks, but it’s still a nice payout. Bet on the QB to score a touchdown at +115.
