The Ragin Cajuns are ragin! They are hot, they put up 33.9 points per game and hold their opponent to 21.8. This team is 9-1 overall with the one loss coming by way of No. 12 Coastal Carolina. Louisiana does not play the Alabama’s, the LSU’s, the Clemson’s, they do not play that level of competition, however, they have had their share of big wins over some solid programs. They pounded #23 Iowa State, 31-14, and picked up a big win over Appalachian State.
UTSA has beaten close to nobody, sure, they are 7-4 but, in this matchup strength of schedule will go a long way. I do not see UTSA hanging around long. Look for the Cajuns defense to put the hammer down.

Pick – Georgia State -3.5
Georgia State can and will throw for miles with Brown under center. The problem, defense. They allow 32.9 points per game. The second problem in this game, Western Kentucky is averaging just over 18 points per game on offense. That sucks! This one could be a back and forth matchup in the early going, however, the Hilltoppers will run out of gas. GS has a much better running game and an even better receiving core with Pinckney leading the way. Look for the easy cover down the stretch.

Both teams do everything well. These two have come out of nowhere and shaken up the NCAA. They pass a ton, they run a ton, and they both get after it on defense. The numbers across the board are neck and neck. I will pick this one on strength of schedule and the winner has to be Liberty. They have notched some big victories considering this programs past. All three games will be fun and exciting, and they all offer a pile of opportunity. Liberty will be the fun one to top off the night.
