NFL Week 10 Anytime Touchdown Scorer Props Picks

I guess some of what we’re doing this week involves the notion that a few of these teams that played great defense – or at least seemed to – last week won’t have a repeat of that.

Of course, we’re talking about the Jacksonville Jaguars and Kansas City Chiefs. And if we don’t think they’re going to perform again on defense, we naturally feel they are going to give up some points – more than many people might expect.

That means touchdowns. And somebody has to score those touchdowns.

Jonathan Taylor Props Picks for Week 10

Jaguars vs. Colts Preview

Time: Sunday, November 14 – 1 PM ET

TD Scoring Odds: -175 to score “Anytime” Touchdown

How could you not want to be on this guy’s side? The Colts appear intent on riding this guy into the playoffs, and with an extra team involved in the postseason, Indy has to go with its best foot forward. So he’s going to have more or less the role Derrick Henry had with Tennessee before he went down with his injury.

And speaking of Henry, Taylor could conceivably catch him for the NFL rushing lead this week. He dominated the Jets with 172 yards on the ground, in case anybody hadn’t seen what he can do. He has now scored a touchdown in six consecutive games (nine for the season).

James Conner Props Picks for Week 10

Panthers vs. Cardinals Preview

Time: Sunday, November 14 – 4:05 PM ET

TD Scoring Odds: -135 to score “Anytime” Touchdown

Part of Arizona’s success is that it has been able to run the ball with some consistency. They rank in the top ten in that category, and that constitutes 48.4% of their plays. So aside from what Kyler Murray can do, they turn to their backfield.

And that’s a nice 1-2 punch with Conner and Chase Edmonds. Conner is actually averaging less than four yards a carry. But the interesting part is that between these two, while Edmonds has only recently scored his first touchdown, Conner has found the end zone ten times, which is tied for the top spot among all NFL ball-carriers. So we feel fairly confident that he’s a guy the Cards will look toward as they get closer to the goal line.

Darren Waller Props Picks for Week 10

Chiefs vs. Raiders Preview

Time: Sunday, November 14 – 8:20 PM ET

TD Scoring Odds: +165 to score “Anytime” Touchdown

I was recently reading a piece where a former player talked of Derek Carr’s lack of real trust in Henry Ruggs III as a receiver, which affected what he wound up seeing. And in that story, it was pointed out that Hunter Renfrow was certainly a guy that Carr was going to look for, but Waller was the first option.

Waller came back from an injury last Sunday against the New York Giants, and wound up catching seven passes. He’s only got two TD’s this season, but based on his nine scores in 2020, you know that could easily change. The Chiefs (31st in the NFL in yards allowed per drive) aren’t a team that is dependable on the stop end, and after facing a beginner last week (Jordan Love), they get a much sterner test on Sunday night. Kansas City has given up six touchdowns and 13 yards per reception to tight ends.

Expert NFL Predictions

Adam Thielen Props Picks for Week 10

Vikings vs. Chargers Preview

Time: Sunday, November 14 – 4:05 PM ET

TD Scoring Odds: +140 to score “Anytime” Touchdown

We’re expecting something of a shootout in the Vikings-Chargers game, and somebody’s going to be scoring touchdowns. Why not Thielen? The way Brandon Staley constructs his defense, he is looking to limit the opponent’s explosive plays. That would seem to affect Justin Jefferson more than Thielen, whose yards-per-catch is not as robust (10.6).

And with seven touchdowns this season, it is patently obvious that Thielen is not allergic to the end zone.

Jeremy McNichols Props Picks for Week 10

Saints vs. Titans Preview

Time: Sunday, November 14 – 1 PM ET

TD Scoring Odds: +250 to score “Anytime” Touchdown

This Tennessee Titan game plan without Derrick Henry is probably still evolving. But we know that despite scoring a touchdown last week, Adrian Peterson is not going to be carrying a heavy load. McNichols will invariably have to pick up some of the slack. He’ll get enough time on the field; in terms of receptions, he’s the second-leading receiver on the team. He’s just a very good short-range option, and he’s going to get more carries too (has only 14 thus far).
