The NFL wild card round is looking like a great week for teaser bets. There are three games with point spreads of a field goal or less and three games with favorites of a touchdown or more.
I’ve analyzed the teaser odds and have come up with two bets that I’m confident will cash.
NFL 6-Point Teaser Picks for Wild Card Round
Here’s my two-team NFL 6-point teaser bet (-110 Payout Odds):
Ravens vs. Bengals Teaser Picks
Best Bet: Bengals -7 to Bengals -1
The Bengals have won eight consecutive games, while the Ravens have lost two in a row and three of their last four games. It’s looking like Lamar Jackson might miss the game due to his knee injury.
Cincinnati have won three of the last four H2H games, including a week 18 win (27-16). They’ve struggled to move the football without Jackson and won’t keep up with the Bengals offense (26.1 PPG – 7th).
Giants vs. Vikings Teaser Picks
Best Bet: Over 48 Points to Over 42 Points
This game will fly over 42 points. The Vikings defeated the Giants in week 16 (27-24). Both QBs had big games. Daniel Jones threw for 334 yards (1 TD / 1 INT) and Kirk Cousins threw for 299 yards (3 TDs).
These teams rank in the bottom-half in points allowed. The Giants allow 21.8 PPG (17th) and the Vikings allow 25.1 PPG (28th). Six of the Vikings last seven games have gone over the total.
NFL 10-Point Teaser Picks for Wild Card Round
Here’s my three-team NFL 10-point teaser bet (-110 Payout Odds):
Seahawks vs. 49ers Teaser Picks
Best Bet: 49ers -9.5 to 49ers +0.5
The 49ers have the longest active winning streak at ten games. The Seahawks won their last two games to squeak into the playoffs. SF are 2-0 against Seattle, winning by 20 points (27-7) and 8 points (21-13).
The 49ers dominated the NFC West this season (6-0) and were 8-1 at home. The Niners are allowing just 16.3 PPG (1st) and they’re scoring 26.5 PPG (6th). This should be an easy victory for SF at home.
Dolphins vs. Bills Teaser Picks
Best Bet: Bills -12.5 to Bills -2.5
The Bills have won seven consecutive games and are 7-1 at home this season. The Bills and Dolphins split the regular season H2H series (1-1), but the Bills are 8-1 in the last nine H2H games.
It has been announced that Tua Tagovailoa won’t play this weekend. Without Tua, this game could end up getting ugly. The Bills average 28.4 PPG (2nd) and the Dolphins won’t be able to keep up.
Chargers vs. Jaguars Teaser Picks
Best Bet: Chargers -1.5 to Chargers +8.5
I never like crossing zero on teaser bets, but this is the best option for this match-up. The Chargers lost once all season by more than a touchdown and it was in week 3 against Jacksonville (38-10).
That’s not going to happen in the playoffs. The Chargers are healthy. Mike Williams is a bit banged up, but will play. Keenan Allen is healthy. If the Jags happen to win, it won’t be by more than one possession.
