Kevin Fiala has been racking up assists for fun recently. The Los Angeles Kings star notched four assists in a single game against the Seattle Kraken at the end of last month before adding another assist to his tally against the Arizona Coyotes.
When you look at the bigger picture, Fiala has recorded eight assists across the past six games. That’s why I’m surprised that you can more than double your money by backing him to get an assist against the Ottawa Senators.
Auston Matthews – Over 4.5 SOG (+118)
Only three players have registered more shots on goal than Auston Matthews this season. The Toronto Maple Leafs star has racked up 112 shots on goal across 26 outings, meaning he averages 4.3 SOG per game in 2022-23.
The Maples Leafs have won five of their last six games, with Matthews playing a pivotal role throughout. Since the Dallas Stars have lost three of their previous five games, I can see Matthews notching over 4.5 SOG on Tuesday.
Nikita Kucherov – Over 1.5 Points (+114)
Nikita Kucherov finds himself fourth on the points leaderboard with 36 points to his name. Only Connor McDavid, Leon Draisaitl and Jason Robertson have accumulated more points than Kucherov this season.
Not only have the Tampa Bay Lightning won four of their last five games, but they have also won eight of their previous ten. On the flip side, the Detroit Red Wings gave lost three of their past four outings. I’m confident that Kucherov will dominate Detroit.
