Premier League Gameweek 25 Predictions

With Gameweek 25 right around the corner, it’s time to lock in your Premier League predictions. You will be pleased to learn that I have trawled the odds to find the best EPL picks for this weekend, so let’s jump straight into my recommended bets.

Everton vs. Aston Villa

Best Bet: Under 2.5 Goals (-154)

There is no denying that Sean Dyche has transformed Everton into a hardy unit. Since Dyche replaced Frank Lampard in the Goodison Park hot seat, the Toffees have taken six points from a possible nine in the Premier League, securing 1-0 wins against Arsenal and Leeds United.

In fact, each of Everton’s previous three matches have produced under 2.5 goals, with a 2-0 defeat to Liverpool coming in between the victories over Arsenal and Leeds. With that in mind, I’m confident that Everton and Aston Villa will play out a low-scoring encounter on Saturday.

Leicester City vs. Arsenal

Best Bet: Arsenal to Win (-150)

Having demonstrated great resilience to beat Aston Villa 4-2 last weekend, Arsenal is back at the summit of the Premier League table. The Gunners have lost just three of their 23 league outings this season, picking up 17 wins along the way.

By contrast, Leicester City occupies 14th place in the standings – 30 points shy of Arsenal – following a 3-0 defeat to Manchester United. Only bottom club Southampton has recorded more losses than Leicester this term, so I’m backing Arsenal to claim all three points at the King Power Stadium.

Bournemouth vs. Manchester City

Best Bet: Manchester City -1 (-134)

The gulf between Bournemouth and Manchester City is clear for all to see. While the Cherries find themselves one point outside the relegation zone following a run of one win in eight games, the Cityzens occupy second place – 31 points clear of Bournemouth.

It is also worth noting that Pep Guardiola’s men have won each of their last 12 meetings with Bournemouth, scoring over 1.5 goals on 11 occasions during that period. City is priced at -400 to beat Bournemouth, so I recommended throwing the -1 handicap into the mix.

Crystal Palace vs. Liverpool

Best Bet: Liverpool to Win (-143)

Although Liverpool suffered a humiliating 5-2 defeat to Real Madrid in the Champions League on Tuesday, Jurgen Klopp’s men will be confident of returning to winning ways this weekend, having claimed back-to-back clean-sheet victories in the Premier League.

Crystal Palace heads into Saturday’s clash on a seven-match winless run. When you look at the bigger picture, the Eagles have managed to win just one of their previous 12 games across all competitions. That’s why I’m backing Liverpool to leave Selhurst Park with maximum points.

Tottenham Hotspur vs. Chelsea

Best Bet: Both Teams to Score (-130)

When Chelsea hosted Tottenham Hotspur in the reverse fixture back in August, the London rivals dished up a wild 2-2 draw. In fact, Tottenham and Chelsea invariably produce eventful encounters, with both teams tending to find the back of the net.

Only Arsenal and Man City have scored more goals than Antonio Conte’s men this season. However, 13 teams have conceded fewer goals than Spurs in 2022-23. For that reason, I expect both Tottenham and Chelsea to score on Sunday.
