The NBA season is coming to an end, but we still have a few days left for betting. Player props have been money for us this season, so we will keep hammering the market.
Player props are ideal for betting because they allow us to limit liability. When you limit liability, the wins soar through the roof.
There is a good selection of games on Friday so let’s make some money. Here are my top NBA player props for April 8th 2022.
Cade Cunningham First Basket +850
Cade Cunningham has been one of the best young players in the NBA this season. The Pistons will have a tough matchup with the Bucks’. However, Detroit has the advantage because the Bucks have nothing to lose.
If someone is going to score first, it will be Cunningham. Milwaukee will hopefully lose the tip or miss the first shot. This will give Cunningham the opportunity to make plays and score first.
He is the point guard for the Pistons, so he will have chances to score early. Cunningham is averaging 17.5 PPG this season and shooting 41.8% from the field.
Kevin Durant Over 30.5 Points
Cavaliers vs. Nets Predictions
The Nets have struggled this season at times. However, they are a threat heading into the playoffs.
They will host the Cavaliers on Friday, and I like Kevin Durant to step up tonight. Durant’s point total is very high, but it’s hard to bet against KD.
The player is one of the best in the league and shooting 48.6% against Cleveland. Durant has gone over this total two times in his past three games. These performances include a 32 and 55 point performance.

Trae Young Under 29.5 Points
Trae Young has been terrific this season. He ranks fifth in scoring with 28.3 PPG and third in assists at 9.7 per game. Young is a player that gets everyone involved.
However, I think he stays under his 29.5 point total in tonight’s game against the Heat.
In two games against Miami, he is averaging 22.3 PPG. This is because of the strength of the Heat’s defense.
Atlanta is playing for seeding, so I expect them to come out on fire. Although, I would say the Hawks still come up a little short.
Malik Monk Over 13.5 Points
Thunder vs. Lakers Predictions
The Lakers season is coming to a close. Therefore, a lot of their stars are still not playing.
The team is in the second game of a back-to-back on Friday. Without the stars, Malik Monk has been the man to step up big for the team.
In Thursday’s game, he dropped 24 points against the Warriors. Golden State had a lot of stars on the floor for this matchup. I think Monk goes over, especially against a bad Thunder team.
Rudy Gobert Over 13.5 Rebounds
Rudy Gobert is the best big man in the game on the glass. He is averaging 14.7 rebounds per game.
Rebounds are always tough to predict, but Gobert delivers consistently. He has gone over this total four times in his past five.
If Gobert gets minutes tonight, he is going over against a smaller Suns team.
