The NBA Sunday slate is vast, which means there are plenty of chances for player prop wins. Player props are great because we only have to worry about one player.
Once we look at the matchups, it often works into our favor. If you put in the work for the research, the bets typically go as planned.
Let’s get into our best player props for Sunday, April 3.
Damian Jones Under 13.5 Points
Warriors vs. Kings Predictions
Damian Jones point total is a steal today. The big man plays for the Sacramento Kings, and his number is set at 13.5.
He is averaging just 7.4 PPG. He is coming off two strong performances in the scoring department, but this was against the Rockets.
Anything a player does against Houston cannot be viewed with that much consideration. The Kings will play the Warriors on Sunday.
My bet is for Golden State to play great defense. This is something they have done throughout the season. Defensive strength should lead to an under.
Keon Johnson Under 12.5 Points
Trail Blazers vs. Spurs Predictions
Keon Johnson is an emerging star for the Trail Blazers. However, things have not been great for him early in his career.
Johnson is averaging 6.4 PPG this season, and his total is at 12.5. I am going to take the under on this for a few reasons.
He is coming off a game against the Spurs where he scored 20. The team will play San Antonio again on Sunday.
It’s hard to have two great performances when you are not a natural scorer. Additionally, Johnson only plays 25 minutes per game.

Jalen Green Under 22.5 Points
Timberwolves vs. Rockets Predictions
Jalen Green is one of the best young players in the league. However, he plays for the Rockets, and his ability is often not seen.
The Rockets will play Minnesota on Sunday at home. The Timberwolves play great defense, which will hurt Green’s numbers.
He is averaging 16.6 PPG this season. In two contests against Minnesota, he is averaging just 9.5 PPG. I expect a similar number from Green on Sunday, so I am slamming the under.
Jaylen Brown Over 22.5 Points
Wizards vs. Celtics Predictions
Jaylen Brown is making a lot of big plays lately for the Celtics. He is definitely still in a backseat role to Jayson Tatum.
However, Brown has stepped up in big spots. The Celtics will host the Wizards on Sunday.
I like Brown to go over his total. Washington has struggled on defense throughout the year.
Additionally, Brown is one of the hottest shooters in the league currently. He has gone over this total in four straight contests.
Fred VanVleet Over 16.5 Points
Fred VanVleet is averaging 20.3 PPG this season. This number ranks him 26th in the NBA. The Raptors will play the Heat on Sunday.
His scoring number is only at 16.5. However, in three games against Miami, he is averaging 20.7 PPG.
He has not been electric scoring as of late, but 16.5 points is too good to resist. VanVleet is a big-time player that steps up in big spots. I like that to happen today.
