The final UFC event of the year is set to go down in Las Vegas on Saturday, December 17th. UFC Vegas 66 boasts a stacked fight card, with Jared Cannonier and Sean Strickland’s middleweight bout headlining the event.
The co-main event is also destined to be a thrilling bout, with Arman Tsarukyan and Damir Ismagulov going head-to-head in the lightweight division. In total, we have a whopping 14 fights to look forward to in Vegas.
I have scoured the UFC Vegas 66 odds to find the best bets for Saturday’s event. Keep reading to discover my UFC Fight Night: Cannonier vs. Strickland predictions.
Jared Cannonier vs. Sean Strickland Predictions
Fight Odds: Cannonier (-105) vs. Strickland (-115)
As you can see, the bookmakers can barely separate the two fighters in the main event. Strickland (-115) is the marginal betting favorite, but Cannonier (-105) isn’t far behind.
Although this middleweight showdown is destined to go down to the wire, I can see Cannonier finishing Strickland. Five of Cannonier’s past six wins came by way of KO/TKO, so I expect him to get the better of Strickland.
Both fighters lost at UFC 276 back in July, meaning they will be eager to return to winning ways in Vegas. In my eyes, Cannonier’s price of -105 is certainly worth taking advantage of.

Arman Tsarukyan vs. Damir Ismagulov Predictions
Fight Odds: Tsarukyan (-190) vs. Ismagulov (+160)
Ismagulov heads into UFC Vegas 66 with a record of 24-1. Believe it or not, the Russian hasn’t tasted defeat since September 2015 – racking up 19 victories in the process.
However, it’s fair to say that Ismagulov hasn’t fought anyone as tough as Tsarukyan. Although Tsarukyan’s record of 18-3 is slightly inferior, “Ahalkalakets” has fought – and beaten – some of the biggest names in the lightweight division.
Tsarukyan suffered a decision defeat to Mateusz Gamrot at UFC Vegas 57 back in June, so he will be desperate to make amends in Sin City. The fight against Ismagulov provides him with the ideal opportunity to get back on track.

Drew Dober vs. Bobby Green Predictions
Fight Odds: Dober (-150) vs. Green (+130)
The bookies expect Drew Dober to beat Bobby Green on Saturday, but I can see Green upsetting the UFC odds. If you’re looking for a tasty plus-money wager this weekend, look no further than this lightweight bout.
At the end of the day, Green is a decision king. Across his previous 11 fights, the experienced 36-year-old has secured five unanimous decision wins. He also notched a TKO victory over Al Iaquinta at UFC 268 back in November 2021.
On the flip side, Dober has lost two of his past four fights. Although he downed Rafael Alves at UFC 277 earlier this year, he will struggle to deal with Green’s strength.
