Deadpool and Wolverine Odds, Predictions, Rumors and More

Deadpool and Wolverine is without a doubt one of the most highly anticipated Marvel films of all-time. Getting a third Deadpool movie in any regard was always going to be well received, but adding Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine simply brings it over the top.

There’s more to Deadpool 3 than just enjoying the Merc With a Mouth’s official arrival in the MCU, though. You can actually bet on what will happen in Deadpool and Wolverine. Numerous betting sites are offering a litany of fun Deadpool 3 prop bets, and if you bet just right, you can clean up.

As you can see, there are a lot of Deadpool and Wolverine bets to consider. They don’t all offer intriguing betting value, though, which is precisely why I am going away from the favorite a good amount.

That said, we know how these movies go. There have been two Deadpool films already, and in both of them we get raunchy comedy, extreme violence, a ton of swearing, and considerable one-on-one time between us and Deadpool.

Adding Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine only adds to the fun, so this third Deadpool installment is unlikely to disappoint. Just in case it does, of course, you might feel a bit better if some of my Deadpool 3 predictions can help you win some cash.

You can take my Deadpool and Wolverine betting picks from the table above, but I’ll dive into each of them a bit more to offer my reasoning for each prediction.

How Much Will Deadpool 3 Make During its Opening Weekend?

This isn’t a Deadpool movie prediction, exactly, but it’s still a prediction to do with the film. More importantly, it’s something you can bet on.

I can’t stress enough how highly anticipated this movie is. Not only is this probably the best MCU movie in some time, but it’s also the third installment in a successful franchise.

That, and Deadpool is finally being fully integrated into the MCU for the first time ever.

Because of that, I think Deadpool and Wolverine is looking at a huge opening weekend. It’s also worth noting that this flick isn’t really facing much competition when it first premieres. Twisters (July 19th) is the only movie that could really give it problems, and I can’t envision that happening.

Also, Marvel fans don’t have anything else to look forward to, with this being the only MCU film due out for the remainder of 2024.

Two other factors have me digging the Over here. First, the best opening weekend of all-time belongs to an MCU film – Avengers: Endgame. Actually, each of the top three best opening weekends were Marvel-related movies.

This isn’t even that high of a number, either. As it stands, it wouldn’t even crack the top-50 best opening weekends. Considering The Mermaid can say it’s on that list, Deadpool and Wolverine is in good company. Heck, even Deadpool 2 (40th with $300 million) is on the list.

Every MCU fan is going to see this movie the day it drops and it’s going to crush this total.

Bet: Over $180 million -120

What Will Deadpool and Wolverine’s Worldwide Gross Be?

I’m quite confident that Deadpool and Wolverine will have a highly successful opening weekend. Betting on the movie doing much more than that would assume a little extra risk.

For one, the superhero fandom isn’t what it once was. People could also flock to see it early, and then fizzle out if the reviews aren’t top shelf.

Of course, the Deadpool trailer looks awesome, and luring Hugh Jackman out of retirement obviously has people interested.

Avatar still stands tall as the highest grossing movie of all-time (2.9B). Right behind it? Avengers: Endgame. Avatar 2 ranks third, for what it’s worth, but a Marvel film being right behind the #1 spot is certainly worth noting.

The other thing is this total isn’t that high. Technically it is, but if you look at other movies that have surpassed this worldwide gross mark (Alice in Wonderland and Jumanji), it isn’t crazy to think Deadpool 3 could get it done.

Other comic book movies have climbed the mountain, too. Joker, The Dark Knight Rises, Captain Marvel, Aquaman, and Iron Man 3 are a few that have cracked the top-50 in worldwide gross.

In the interest of full transparency, neither of the first two Deadpool films quite hit this mark. Both maxed out around $780 million. Of course, they also didn’t have Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, and they didn’t have quite as much hype around them.

Due to the Wolverine factor, I think this is still a bet worth taking.

Bet: Over $960 million -120

How Many Times Will Deadpool Break the 4th Wall?

This is easily one of my favorite Deadpool prop bets, as you can enjoy the movie and track your progress along the way.

If you’re unfamiliar, Deadpool “breaks the 4th wall” every time he addresses the audience.

Ryan Reynolds is great at this, whether he’s merely talking to the audience directly, turning and looking at them, or telling the audience a joke in passing.

The point is that Deadpool does this a lot, and it’s logical to anticipate him doing it even more in the franchise’s third movie. The introduction of a marquee character like Wolverine only makes this more likely.

Bet: Over 6.5 times -250

Deadpool vs. Wolverine – Who Will Get More Kills?

This is my favorite Deadpool and Wolverine prop bet of them all, as most will assume that Deadpool will win the “kill count” battle. However, I don’t really see the point of adding a massive MCU star like Wolverine and not using him.

I know this is a Deadpool movie, but it’s quite specifically titled Deadpool and Wolverine. I think this is a lot more of a shared project than people seem to think, which should give Hugh Jackman a pretty massive stage for what could (for real) be his last dance with this beloved character.

Deadpool is going to collect some bodies, don’t get me wrong. But Wolverine is actually more equipped to take a lot more people out and do it quickly. Besides, you’re getting plus money for a vicious killer that you know is going to be featured throughout an action flick.

Bet: Wolverine +300

Will Deadpool or Wolverine Say the F-Word More?

If you’re looking at the Deadpool and Wolverine odds like I am, you’re trying to take advantage of this movie, while also having some fun. Personally, I am excited to sit back and enjoy what could end up being the best Deadpool movie yet, while also collecting some cash.

One way to do that may be to bet on Wolverine dropping the F-bomb at least one more time than Deadpool does.

In fact, we hear him say it in one of the teaser trailers.

We know by now that Deadpool is a bit mouthy, but the irony of Wolverine swearing more than the main character is what would make it so funny. The fans came to see Deadpool cuss and slit throats, but in the end, it’s actually Wolverine who drops more bodies and can’t stop swearing? Yeah, I can see it.

But again, even if the logic isn’t airtight, it’s about the Deadpool and Wolverine betting odds for me. You get a cool +300 price, and I have to think Hugh Jackman was smiling at the opportunity to swear like crazy in an R-rated superhero flick.

Bet: Wolverine +300

What Will the Deadpool and Wolverine Rotten Tomatoes Score Be?

Another great Deadpool and Wolverine bet is the Rotten Tomatoes score being at 84% or higher. It’s quite important that we note that this rating refers to the audience score.

History tells us that the critics can be rather harsh, and some fear they can even be bought. The audience score is a lot more forgiving, however, and you can see that with cult classics like The Boondock Saints, which has an impossibly bad 26% critics score, but received a far more deserving 91% rating from the fans.

I certainly lean with the fans in that regard, and my assumption is we can expect something similar when trying to predict the Deadpool and Wolverine Rotten Tomatoes rating.

History can be our best teacher, so don’t ignore how previous Deadpool movies did. The first one actually topped this mark for the critics (85%), and easily cleared it for the fans (90%). Deadpool 2 was a mild drop down from the original, but still hit 84% for the critics and once again cleared this threshold (85%) in regards to the audience.

Given everything we know about this third Deadpool movie, the Over feels like a lock.

Bet: Over 84% -250

What Actors Will Appear in Deadpool and Wolverine?

If you search high and low, I am sure you can stumble upon more Deadpool and Wolverine prop bets to take advantage of. For now, my last Deadpool prop to target is which actors might show up in the movie.

There are actually a lot of Deadpool and Wolverine odds live online for this wager, with Patrick Stewart’s Professor X (-1200) leading the way.

His sister plays the film’s main villain, so his appearance makes quite a bit of sense.

Those odds really make me think he’s a terrific bet to show up in Deadpool 3, but they’re also so heavy that actually betting on them makes little sense.

That’s the case for a few of the top contenders, while an insane 16 actors/characters have odds of -125 or better to make an appearance in the movie.

Anything that is public knowledge (for this or any other Deadpool props) would be void, while predicting who will be in Deadpool and Wolverine in general feels rather difficult. There are several big names (such as Blake Lively and Taylor Swift) that feel viable here, but the one I keep coming back to is Michael Fassbender.

Like usual, I am first drawn to the +1000 odds. I also think he’s a terrific bridge between Wolverine and Deadpool, as he’s a very dry character, but also a menacing one. He certainly has rubbed Wolverine the wrong way in the past, and with Deadpool being introduced to the MCU, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to have him go head-to-head with an established presence.

Also, a Professor-X-ish character (his sister) is in the movie, so perhaps someone with Magneto’s experience with defying mental control could come in handy?

There could obviously be a lot of different villains, but who has more of a presence in a movie dealing with the greatest X-Men character of all-time than Magneto? Across the board, he feels like the pick.

Bet: Michael Fassbender +1000

Betting on What Happens in Deadpool and Wolverine

The Deadpool and Wolverine odds make for a ton of fun, but the film itself is going to be reason enough to file into theaters come July 26th.

I, for one, will gladly pay the price of admission and cram myself into a packed theater on opening night. My personal excitement for the third Deadpool movie is one reason why I think this movie will be getting a ton of eyes on it early – and over the course of the next couple of months.

In addition to watching what should be a fun and hilarious action flick, hopefully we can win some cash in the process. Most of the Deadpool and Wolverine prop bets lack elite betting value, but if you’re willing to take a few risks, it could make for a fun adventure.
