2026 Super Bowl National Anthem Odds and Predictions

Last Updated on

Super Bowl 60 takes place at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, on Sunday, February 8. And, like clockwork, the NFL Championship marks the most popular one-day game to bet on every year.

In fact, it feels like sportsbooks are figuring out ways to increase prop bets for each Super Bowl. However, one Super Bowl prop bet that remains a popular one to wager on is the National Anthem.

This year, Charlie Puth will headline a trio of talented artists performing the pre-game songs that have become a Super Bowl mainstay.

Joining Puth will be Brandie Carlile performing “America the Beautiful” and Coco Jones singing “Lift Every Voice and Sing”.

Yet, there’s more to wager on than just each song’s duration. From final notes to comparing durations of various in-game events, we have plenty of exciting props to bet on.

With that said, let’s take a look at the latest odds for a handful of National Anthem prop bets and make our NFL predictions for these exciting Super Bowl props.

Who Is Singing The National Anthem At The Super Bowl?

Charlie Puth, known for hits like “Attention,” will perform the Star Spangled Banner. Puth’s Super Bowl performance will come roughly four weeks before his fourth album comes out. The talented musician has amassed billions of streams and a plethora of chart-topping hits.

Whitney Houston Super Bowl National Anthem

In 1991, at Super Bowl 25, Whitney Houston sang the Star Spangled Banner and it is widely believed to be the best Super Bowl National Anthem rendition of all-time.

Super Bowl National Anthem Predictions

Check out our expert predictions on the latest Super Bowl National Anthem prop bets:

Duration of National Anthem

  • Over 125.5 seconds (-105)
  • Under 125.5 seconds (-135)

It’s important that you check with your sportsbook of choice when they officially start the timer for the National Anthem. Some sportsbooks won’t begin the timer until Puth sings the first note. The time will also end once the last note is officially completed.

Last year, we saw Jon Baptiste sing under 120.5 seconds. It marked the first time that the National Anthem came in as the Under since Super Bowl 54 and Demi Lovato’s rendition.

Nine of the last 13 renditions have all gone at least two minutes with eight of them going Over 120 seconds. The longest rendition of the Super Bowl National Anthem came in 2013, when Alicia Keys took 2:36 to perform the song.

This year, I am taking Puth to come in under 125.5 seconds. I say it will be closer to 120 seconds flat.

Bet: Under 125.5 seconds (-135)

Will Puth Forget/Omit a Word?

  • Yes (+900)
  • No (-3000)

In 2011, Christina Aguilera got mixed up and butchered an entire line. She forgot to sing the line “O’er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming,” and sung a previous line again. Yet, that repeated verse wasn’t even performed correctly.

Although the talented singer apologized for the mistake and even finished the performance with plenty of passion, it’s gone down in pop culture history and became a prop bet at sportsbooks.

However, there hasn’t been a recorded case of a performer messing up the National Anthem since then. Nor has there been documented issues with singers omitting words before or after Aguilera. Take the No for this prop bet.

Bet: No (-3000)

Military Member Shown During National Anthem?

  • Yes (-10000)
  • No (+2000)

This is a no-brainer. I can’t remember a sporting event in my lifetime that didn’t show a Military member during the National Anthem. The Military has become synonymous with the National Anthem and, in some ways, embodies this proud, beautiful song.

Bet: Yes (-10000)

Length of “Brave” During National Anthem?

  • Over 4.5 seconds (-120)
  • Under 4.5 seconds (-120)

This prop bet is the perfect example of sportsbooks trying to capitalize on bettors since we don’t have any official documentation of National Anthem performances for the word “brave.”

While we can go and time the duration of this word over the last 10 National Anthems and create our own database, that won’t matter as much considering sportsbooks all measure this prop bet differently. So, make sure you check to see how your sports betting site of choice marks the duration of this word.

As for the prop bet itself, let’s go with the Over. I think Puth will move through the first half of the song quickly, then slow down in the second half to bring it home with a 5-second “brave.”

Bet: Over 4.5 seconds (-120)

Will Any Player/Coach Cry During National Anthem?

  • Yes (-400)
  • No (+250)

Get your money in on this prop bet before the lines shift even more in favor of the Yes. Last year, we saw the line shift 5x from opening to closing odds for this prop. It’s unthinkable that no player or coach will cry.

Keep in mind, these athletes and coaches are still human beings who spent their entire lives dreaming of this moment. Of course, the tears will be flow. Hell, I have tears flowing when I watch the National Anthem being performed. So, I can only imagine how they feel.

Bet: Yes (-400)

Length of America The Beautiful

  • Over 100.5 seconds (+110)
  • Under 100.5 seconds (-150)

11-time Grammy Award winner Brandi Carlile will perform “America The Beautiful.” The 44-year-old has also been an Oscar nominee, two-time Emmy winner, bestselling author, and a notable activist.

Like with the prop bets above, there are no official durations for America The Beautiful at the Super Bowl. So, we’re using approximations. With that said, I like for this rendition to be closer to the two-minute mark. Take the Over.

Also, my favorite rendition of this song at the Super Bowl was Ray Charles. The legendary singer really set the bar just like Whitney Houston did for the National Anthem.

Bet: Over 100.5 seconds (+110)
