Motor City has signed Brooks Koepka, the five-time major champion, as its first player. ESPN lists the 2026-27 TGL season as running from late December 2026 into March 2027, with no matches on its schedule yet.

How the 2026 TGL playoffs went
Boston Common Golf had the best regular-season record, winning four of its five matches. Los Angeles went 3-2, Jupiter Links and The Bay 2-3, and all six teams played five matches. Boston did not make the final.

Jupiter reached the final after going 2-3 in the regular season. It had lost to Boston 7-6 on March 2, then beat the same team by four in the semifinal two weeks later.
How TGL works
TGL is a team golf league played at SoFi Center, a venue built for it on the campus of Palm Beach State College in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Each team has four PGA Tour players and uses three in each match. A match is 15 holes and about two hours long, with full shots hit into a giant screen and the short game played on a real green, and it airs on ESPN.
Each hole is worth one point unless a team throws the Hammer, which raises the value of that hole by a point. That rule is why TGL scores can swing fast: Los Angeles won the second final match 9-2 on the same day it won the first by one.
Betting the 2027 TGL season
With seven teams, a flat field would put each team near 14.3%. A price of +400 implies 20.0% and +600 implies 14.3%, so a team priced at +600 is being rated as an average team. A futures bet is worth making only when you rate a team’s chance higher than the price does.
