The stage is set and the cast is ready. Four teams, the top two each in the USFL and XFL Divisions, square off in the 2025 UFL Playoffs. ScoresandStats will be your one-stop destination for all things UFL betting. Our elite handicappers have had you covered all season and they will continue through the postseason.

The USFL Division played out just as it did in 2024. The defending champion Birmingham Stallions will take on the Michigan Panthers in the division title game. St. Louis takes on DC in the XFL championship after the two teams just played in the regular season finale last weekend. The winners of the divisional championship games will meet for the 2025 UFL championship.

Birmingham will have a chance to repeat as UFL champions. The Stallions will also have an opportunity to win a fourth straight league championship. Under head coach Skip Holtz, the Stallions won the old USFL championship in 2022 and 2023 before winning the inaugural UFL title last year in 2024.

Despite their success, Birmingham is not the favorite to capture this year’s UFL title. That honor belongs to the Battlehawks of St. Louis. The Hawks finished the regular season with the UFL’s best record at 8-2 and they head into the postseason with a six-game winning streak. St. Louis is favored to beat DC in the playoffs this weekend as we will see shortly.

Let’s huddle up to look at the latest UFL Week Playoff odds, courtesy of the top betting sites, and make our UFL Playoff predictions.

UFL Week Playoffs Predictions

Let’s take a look at the UFL Playoffs matchups and make our spread, total, and moneyline picks for each game.

Michigan Panthers vs. Birmingham Stallions Odds

TeamMoneylineSpreadTotal
Michigan Panthers+100+1.5 (-115)O 45.5 (-110)
Birmingham Stallions-120-1.5 (-105)U 45.5 (-110)

Birmingham was not as dominant as in 2024, but the Stallions still finished with a 7-3 SU record. They also went 6-4 ATS. The Stallions were favored by at least 1.5 points eight times this season. Birmingham went 4-4 ATS in those eight games.

The Stallions offense really picked up over the final few weeks of the season. They ended the season as the No. 2 scoring offense in the UFL, just behind their opponent this week, Michigan. Six of the Stallions ten games ended up going Over the total, including the final four games of the regular season.

Michigan actually controlled the top spot in the USFL Division until a Week 9 loss to the Stallions. The Panthers finished 6-4 after a loss to Houston in the final week of the regular season.

The Panthers went 4-6 ATS this season and did not cover in their only game as a 1.5-point underdog. The Panthers were prolific on offense and finished as the league’s highest-scoring team by one point (245-244) over Birmingham. Six of their games went Over the total.

Michigan Panthers vs. Birmingham Stallions Predictions

When Birmingham made the change to J’Mar Smith at quarterback, the offense took off. Smith played just four games but completed 65 percent of his passes for 758 yards and six touchdowns. The Stallions scored 33, 28, 26, and 46 points in the final four games of the season.

WR Deon Cain was the key receiver for Birmingham. He has 29 catches for 514 yards and six scoring receptions. The ground game is alive too with Ricky Person Jr. rushing for 309 yards and five touchdowns.

The Stallions and Panthers have faced each other five times now over the last two seasons. Michigan has come close, but the Panthers have never beaten Birmingham. If they are going to pull the upset this weekend, the QB Bryce Perkins (1,342 yards, 9 TDs) is going to have to have a great game. Malik Turner has scored four touchdowns, caught 40 balls and gained 365 yards receiving.

Until the Panthers can prove they can beat Birmingham, our experts will automatically fade Michigan when they play the Stallions. Both offenses should put up some points. Last year’s playoff game ended up with 50 points.

Bet: Birmingham -120, Birmingham -1.5 (-115), Over 45.5 (-110)

DC Defenders vs. St. Louis Battlehawks Odds

TeamMoneylineSpreadTotal
DC Defenders+124+2.5 (-105)O 46.5 (-110)
St. Louis Battlehawks-148-2.5 (-115)U 46.5 (-110)

The Battlehawks are the odds-on favorite (+175) to win the UFL championship. They had the best record in the UFL during the regular season, going 8-2 during the regular season. The Battlehawks had the league’s best defense, allowing 16.3 points per game. St. Louis had the league’s second-best point differential too at +68, proving that they can score as well.

In addition to their 8-2 SU record, the Battlehawks went 7-3 ATS. St. Louis also went 4-1 ATS when playing as a favorite of at least 2.5 points. The Battlehawks scored 29 and 39 points in Weeks 8 and 9, proving their offense can get it done. Still, only half (5-5) of their games went Over the total this season.

DC had one of the more prolific offenses, led by UFL leading passer Jordan Ta’amu. The Defenders averaged 22.5 points per game, but the defense allowed 22.4 a game. That’s one of the reasons why DC went 4-6 ATS. The Over did cash in six of their 10 games.

DC Defenders vs. St. Louis Battlehawks Predictions

St. Louis RB Jacob Saylors led the UFL in rushing with 499 yards. He scored five touchdowns and averaged 4.4 yards per carry. QB Max Duggan passed for 696 yards and four touchdowns in eight games. Last year’s UFL Offensive Player of the Year, WR Hakeem Butler, has 13 catches for 300 yards and four scores.

As mentioned, Ta’amu led the UFL with 2,156 passing yards (239.6 yards per game) and 17 touchdowns. He only completed 54.4 percent of his throws. His top target was Chris Rowland who had 42 catches for 523 yards.

Now, the Defenders were one of the two teams (Arlington was the other) that beat St. Louis in the regular season. The only problem is that the Battlehawks loss was in Week 3. The loss to the Renegades came the week after and St. Louis hasn’t lost since.

Defense wins championships and the Battlehawks will work to take away Ta’amu and Butler and the DC passing game. On offense, Saylors will feast on a Defenders defense that is one of the worst in the UFL. DC allowed 22.4 points per game this season. The St. Louis’ running game will help keep the ball out of Ta’amu’s hands and will speed the game up. That should help keep the total Under 46.5.

Bet: St. Louis -148, St. Louis -2.5 (-115), Under 46.5 (-110)

UFL Playoffs Best Bets

In this first weekend of the playoffs, we have two games from which to choose. Our expert handicappers have analyzed each game and have come up with these best bets for the UFL playoffs.

  • DC @ St. Louis (-148)
  • Michigan @ Birmingham (-120)

Play the favorites here. Birmingham changed quarterbacks and the offense has taken off. It was exactly what the Stallions needed. They beat the Panthers in Week 9 and have beaten them all five times they’ve played over the past two seasons.

At -120 odds, you’ll have to bet $120 to earn $100 when the Stallions win. A $148 bet on the Battlehawks pays out $148 when St. Louis defeats DC. You can also play these two wagers as a single parlay.

Doing so will result in a two-leg parlay with odds of +207. That means a single $100 wager will pay out $207 plus your original $100 stake. You’ll only clear $68 if you bet these picks separately. Bet wisely, enjoy the game and come back to ScoresandStats for help betting the UFL Championship game!
