How the fight went
Dubois threw lead right hands early and landed a right to the body in the fourth, the kind of shot that put Usyk down, ruled a low blow, in their first fight. Usyk used his jab in the fourth and countered over a Dubois jab to open the fifth. He put Dubois down twice before the end, and the last time Dubois stood at eight, too late to beat referee Mike Griffin’s count.
Usyk was 38 on fight night and Dubois 27. BoxingScene reported a crowd of more than 80,000. The win made Usyk undisputed heavyweight champion again, and it was the third time he held undisputed status across two weight classes.
