2025 NASCAR Xfinity Series Championship Odds and Predictions

Last Updated on

The Xfinity Series has been one for the ages. Most notably, the young phenom Connor Zilisch rewrote the record books with 10 wins on the season heading into Championship weekend.

NASCAR fans and bettors have sat in the passenger seat for most of Zilisch’s success over the second half of the season as he dominated the Xfinity Series unlike anything I have ever seen in my lifetime.

While Zilisch is the odds-on favorite to win Saturday’s championship, he didn’t start off that way. In fact, his teammate Justin Allgaier and foe Austin Hill were the betting favorites at the start of the season and near the mid-point mark.

The biggest surprise in this Championship Race is Carson Kvapil who snuck through the backdoor and is the only remaining driver to not have won a race on the season.

With that said, let’s take a look at the latest 2025 NASCAR Xfinity Series Championship odds, courtesy of the best sports betting sites, and make our Xfinity Series Championship predictions. Check out our NASCAR Picks of the Week for an in-depth betting breakdown of this Phoenix Xfinity race.

It’s no surprise that Connor Zilisch is the odds-on favorite to win the Xfinity Series Championship. But I must admit that his +110 odds are higher than I would’ve have guessed before these lines came out this week.

Justin Allgaier, Zilisch’s teammate, is right on his bumper with odds that are higher than expected, as well. The other surprise for me, is seeing Carson Kvapil with better odds than Jesse Love. The latter has been far more consistent all season long and is coming into his own as a real contender in the Xfinity Series.

Xfinity Series Championship Contenders

The following drivers are the final four contenders for the 2025 NASCAR Xfinity Series Championship:

Connor Zilisch

  • Wins: 10
  • Top 5: 19
  • Top 10: 22
  • 2024 Finish: 33rd
  • Career Best: 33rd in 2024

Connor Zilisch tore up the Xfinity Series record book and rewrote it in such a way that we might not ever see it broken. Zilisch won 10 races that included eight wins in 11 weeks. He also scored 18 Top 5s in a row which is mind blowing.

Zilisch hasn’t won in four weeks, which is his longest non-winning streak of the year since Texas in Week 3 to Pocono in Week 16.

As for Phoenix, Zilisch was 16th in the spring race and 4th in last year’s Championship Race as a rookie.

The no.88 car was 9th last weekend in Martinsville, 23rd in Talladega two weeks ago, and runner up at Vegas three races ago. His Talladega result snapped the amazing 18 Top 5s in a row streak.

With history, seasonal momentum, and the record books on his side, it’s easy to see why Zilisch is the odds-on favorite to win the trophy this weekend.

Justin Allgaier

  • Wins: 3
  • Top 5: 14
  • Top 10: 19
  • 2024 Finish: 1st
  • Career Best: Championship in 2024

If there’s one many to give Zilisch a run for the checkered flag, it’s his teammate Justin Allgaier who’s the defending Xfinity Series champ.

Allgaier has the third most wins, second most Top 5s, third most Top 10s, most stage wins, and the fourth best average finish. More importantly, he knows the pressure of this final race and proved last year that he could win despite failing in the past.

The no.7 car finished 26th at Martinsville last weekend but does have four Top 8s in the last six races. Furthermore, he had two third-place finishes in a row before a 26th at Martinsville.

At Phoenix, Allgaier has two wins, 12 Top 5s, 20 Top 10s, and a 9.6 average finish. While he has two DNFs in the last five Phoenix events, those came in the spring race. In regards to the fall event at this venue, Allgaier won here in 2019, and has a 4.4 average finish in the last five editions of this race.

Allgaier finished runner up in this race last year and won the Championship. Can he repeat that success this weekend?

Jesse Love

  • Wins: 1
  • Top 5: 8
  • Top 10: 21
  • 2024 Finish: 8th
  • Career Best: 8th in 2024

The reigning Rookie of the Year has put together a solid 2025 season to make it to the Championship Race where his teammate Austin Hill was supposed to be.

Yet, it was Jesse Love’s consistent Playoff performances that got him into the Final Four and not Hill who was too erratic.

Other than Zilisch, Love had the best average finish up to this point (11.4) among fulltime Xfinity drivers. Furthermore, he finished with 21 Top 10s which was one less than Zilisch’s Series best.

Love has six Top 10s and seven Top 12s in the last nine races on the season. He was 23rd at Martinsville last weekend, but had enough of a cushion to cruise into the Final Four. Will he have enough to cruise into victory lane?

Carson Kvapil

  • Wins: 0
  • Top 5: 7
  • Top 10: 14
  • 2024 Finish: 30th
  • Career Best: 30th in 2024

It’s rather remarkable how Carson Kvapil even made the Championship Race considering the fact that he didn’t even win a race up to this point. Even Jesse Love had at least one win so far.

Furthermore, Kvapil had the lowest amount of Top 5s and second fewest number of Top 10s among Playoff drivers this postseason.

In other words, Kvapil was lucky to even make the Playoffs. Then, lightning struck twice as he was very fortunate to make the Championship Race despite only two Top 5s in the Playoffs. Yet, he was runner up at Talladega two weeks ago and also put in a 4th at Bristol earlier in the postseason.

Kvapil is the middle child of JR Motorsports that everyone is overlooking due to his younger teammate Zilisch and his older teammate in Allgaier.

Xfinity Series Championship Predictions

At the beginning of the season, I had Connor Zilisch winning the Xfinity Series championship. Unfortunately, I moved to Allgaier and Hill at the midpoint as Zilisch was slumping. It seemed as if he took that personally because the 19-year-old went on a historic streak around that time.

With that said, I had Allgaier, Love, Zilisch and Hill as my Final Four. Nobody had Kvapil making the Championship Race.

Speaking of the 2025 Xfinity Series Championship, you would have to be out of your mind to take anyone other than Zilisch. I think his last two weeks proved that he’s human but not flawed enough to lose the biggest race of his career to date.

Take Zilisch to win the trophy and make his leap to the Cup Series next year. Also, jump on the value with any line that offers plus-money odds on this generational talent.

Bet: Connor Zilisch (+110)
